Car Stereo Radio for Ford Focus 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018: 10.4 Inch IPS Touchscreen 5GWi-Fi with Carplay Android Auto (2+64GB)

I was skeptical because of the low price, but this thing is fantastic! Easy to install and looks factory. Works seamlessly with my iPhone and Apple CarPlay. I did purchase a different backup camera because I wanted something with a factory look so I found one on Amazon for $27 that is built in to the rear hatch handle. The most time consuming thing was running the wire for the backup camera. 5/5 Absolutely would recommend.

I bought this for my 2013 Ford Focus and was really excited to find one that replaced the dashboard. When I received it, the packaging was all intact, no issues. But setting it up is a completely different story. The instructions don't tell you anything and if you've never worked with wiring before, you'll spend 8 hours trying to figure it out like I did. Then, when everything was finally hooked up, it didn't even work. The screen wouldn't turn on and the only thing that worked is the locks and hazard lights. I emailed the people and all they could recommend was to switch to the original protocol box (which 2013 Ford Focuses DON'T HAVE) or get a replacement. Well, I got a replacement. And it still doesn't work. Tried changing the wires. Nothing. Changed the display. Nothing. Finally, I gave up and put the old stereo back in. And lo and behold even THAT doesn't work anymore! So my stereo is now completely broken and I'll likely have to pay hundreds of dollars to get it fixed.Oh, and for anyone saying to disconnect the battery, take a look at a 2013 Ford Focus battery. I've been denied at multiple auto shops and sent directly to a Ford Shop because there's no way to access the negative charge port. Not even to Jumpstart it. So good luck anyone trying to do this.

The first unit failed shortly after installation. It worked for about 10 minutes before the screen went black, and soon after, I noticed a burning smell. Luckily, I hadn’t secured the bottom screws yet, so I was able to quickly remove the unit from the dash. It was smoking, so I immediately unplugged everything. I ordered a replacement and returned the defective unit to Amazon a few hours ago.The second unit is working great! I also installed an additional USB port for easier access. Climate control and steering wheel buttons are functioning perfectly. I have the upgraded SONY audio system (2012 Focus SEL), and even the stock subwoofer is working. When I shift into reverse, the screen displays the backup camera interface, but I haven’t been able to get the camera to work. I connected the yellow video cable, but there’s no video feed when I put the car in reverse. I plan to reach out to the seller for assistance.The installation process was mostly plug-and-play, though I had to search through various online videos—each one slightly different. My stock Ford Sync stopped working years ago, and I haven’t had a radio in this car for a long time, so I’m thrilled to finally have music again without relying on an earbud!

Definitely you get a bang for your buck with this install for sure. I love that you can customize this radio to your liking and needs not to mention add your own SIM for 5g service! I only got this to add android auto and CarPlay so far so good I can’t complain about it. The installation was a breeze if you have done an install before on a car. The sound quality is a lot better than the stock radio that’s for sure. Added the GPS antenna and every feature works pretty well. I was able to disable the AC controls because I have no use for it and made my car look 10 years newer with this upgrade!!!

Was a hassle to instal but that was figured. It works great for the most part. The only issue, which is very inconvenient is that it constantly disconnects from my phone. And it won’t reconnect unless the car is turned off and back on. It does this multiple times a day. Almost every car ride. It’s very annoying and defeats the purpose. When it does work it’s nice tho.

Just installed ( single page instructions do not match exact and the booklet is for a different radio and video doesnt match USA/Mexico made cars) but through Process of elimination you should be fine. The internal DSP is just wow impressive for being built in and makes the stock speakers sound like a entry level pro setup. So could only assume having aftermarked speakers would be fantastic. Operating system is not sluggish and when cache gets built up there is a quick clear cache button on top slide down. Love the offline maps option especially when vacationing in areas with no cell service. Haven't tried USA sim cards for the radios internal cell option. Still testing it all out will update later. I would like to have something like this to replace radio in my 2020 toyota corolla.3/13/2025 Internal mic does kinda suck. The problem is if your wiring up into stock speakers and wire harness the harness provided for that doesnt have 3.5mm built in with harness. There are 2 harnesses provided 1 is for stock installs and the other for professional RCA runs with aftermarket amps. The harness for the pro set up has the 3.5mm plug for a separate mic which could provide better phone call quality however I can't promise that considering my setup is with the harness to stock speakers and wiring. But still this is almost a year later and no issues with the unit. No sluggish probs. Wife absolutely loves it though she wants me to change it to a pro setup with new speakers and sub lol. So may update in the future again.

I had high hopes for this Ford Focus car stereo, but unfortunately, I never got it to turn on. Despite following the installation instructions carefully, it wouldn’t power up. I reached out to customer service, but they were unhelpful and didn’t resolve the issue.The features seemed great on paper—Carplay/Android Auto, a large touch screen, and GPS navigation—but none of that mattered since I couldn’t get it to work.Overall, very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this product due to the lack of functionality and poor customer support.
