Good Value; Bulk Motel/Hotel/BNB Sized Shampoo; Conditioner; Body Wash; Lotion. Fragrant Aroma
Perfect? No. Not perfect. However, everything does what is intended to do.Criticism?Yes, I do not care that the shampoo contains SLES.What did I receive?I received a generous quantity of (80) travel sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion – (20) bottles of each. These are typical of what is found in most motels, hotels, air BNB’s and such.Size? The bottles are equal in size, they are small, about (3”) tall and about (1”) in diameter. The contents are about 0.85 ounces, which is just over 25 mL, so, small. Each bottle weighs about 42 grams. All (80) bottles weigh in at about 7½ pounds.Contents? The contents are about 0.85 ounces, which is just over 25 mL, so, small.Aroma?I cannot quite nail what, however, each is pleasant. Some a bit stronger, than another, for instance I think the conditioner is aromatic more than the shampoo.PerformanceAll works as intended. The shampoo cleans and softens, the conditioner helps eliminate tangles, and adds shine, the body wash, so small, still lathers nicely, and the lotions hydrates without feeling oily.Value?I think good value exists here, the pricing being competitive, the quantity being significant.Country of origin?Made in China, notes the listing. Nothing on the bottles or package this arrived in. I do not care for that; people like to look at the bottles to learn where this is made. It’s a slight negative.Value?Generous amount, competitive price. There were no negative surprises, just positive results. I like everything about this, except for the SLES.SLS & SLES, I do not care for itThere are two (2) ingredients I prefer to not have in the family soaps (of any sort, whether body, hair, dishwashing, whatever). First, let’s look at sodium “lauryl” sulfate (SLS) a chemical that's commonly used in soaps, shampoos, and shower gels as a surfactant – think foaming agent for creating lots of suds; and second, let’s look at sodium “laureth” sulfate (SLES) sometimes referred to as Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate, which is said to be a slightly less harsh version of SLS, sodium “laureth” sulfate is in this shampoo and body wash. These chemicals are typically made from petroleum. However, such ingredients can be plant based.Right to make informed decisionsOkay. But does it still have SLES? Yes, this does. Read the label (the listing did “not” post these ingredients, it was not disclosed, and it did “not” allow consumers, like me, to have choices and be informed. Even if this is plant derived SLS/SLES does that make that any better? The reader needs to decide. However, of note is the recent trend of “green sheen.” Does plant based make a difference?Set me free from SLESMany people demand a wash that is free from SLS/SLES, whether petroleum based or otherwise (plant-based). This is not free from SLES. Further, I have no idea of the manufacturing process in producing SLES, were the ingredients of concern stripped away? There is lack of information. Again, the reader needs to make an informed decision.Listing accurate? Not really. The listing in the photo shows bars of soap. No soap bars were included. My understanding is that policy is if it is in the listing photos, I should expect it. Further, the bottle in a photo makes the bottle appear to be much larger than it is.Thoughts? At best, for me, this is not perfect, it is four (4) stars, at best, in my opinion and experience.I hope my thoughts added a bit of information.

A nice little selection
These products have what I think of as a hotel sort of scent or perfume, pleasant and a tiny bit strong for my taste, but what I would expect of hotel amenities. The fragrance is gender neutral as I would expect, although I think it leans slightly more towards the masculine. I can't really describe it other than to say that it is perfumey but not floral. The shampoo is nice, it lathers and cleans well and left my hair very nice and soft when I used it in conjunction with the conditioner. The fragrance definitely lingers, even 8 hours later you can still smell it in your hair. The little plastic carry bag these came in makes these perfect for travel, but I would only want to carry them that way and not separately or loose, as I was thinking about trying to carry a lotion in my purse but the screw tops on these bottles can just come off way too easily and then you have a purse full of goo. The plastic carry bag is the protection against that, if anything comes open then it will be sealed inside the plastic, but then it means that you probably want to carry a selection for travel, and not just a single bottle of something in your purse. These would also be very nice to set out on the counter for house guests or in an Airbnb situation. The bottles are not very durable, they kind of crush like a squashed beer can in your hand as you're squeezing them trying to get the product to come out. But other than that, they make a very nice little matched set with the body wash, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and little bar of soap all wrapped up in paper. Very Hotel vibe.
