Bought this to use with my HX Stomp and it works perfectly! Was able to easily add new effects to both channels and expand my sounds. It's small so it was easy to tuck it into my pedal board too. On mine I added some foot switch toppers to it for my comfort when playing barefoot but it's good either way.

This foot switch is easy to use and fits of your pedalboard without taking up much room. When pressing the pedal, the clicking sound is quite loud. The pedal seems to be high quality and it functions as it should. Can’t beat it for the money!!!!

I bought this to replace the footswitch on my Beat Buddy. It works flawlessly. No setup required. It stays in place nicely. I recommend it.

Excellent construction quality and response

I'm really impressed with this passive footswitch. It is well constructed from metal parts which provide a solid feel and a nice weight for its size. I like that it is small enough to use on a pedal board without taking up too much precious space. Please be aware that this is not an A/B switch for switching between two inputs or outputs; it only has one 1/4-inch TRS jack and is intended to control devices that require momentary switches. I used it to control an Electro Harmonix 720 looper pedal, which is meant to be used with a footswitch with three switches (bank up, bank down, and undo/redo). With only two switches, the Sonicake obviously can only do two of those functions, which turned out to be bank down and undo/redo. It performed those functions as expected. The only negative I see is that the switches are pretty loud for momentary switches. Not a problem for typical stage situations, but for quieter performances or recording sessions with microphones, the clicking could definitely interfere.

This is an interesting little accessory for various guitar multi effects units. It’s designed specifically for the Matribox II, but it will work with other units that accept an external momentary footswitch via stereo jack. What your individual FX processor does with this input depends on how you set it up and what effect it’s connected to in the software. It 100% depends on the software in your unit, so it’s not super helpful to describe what this “does” sonically.It is literally just two momentary footswitches, wired to a stereo jack, so that one switch opens/shorts the tip, and the other switch opens/shorts the ring of the stereo connector/cable. That’s it. What your FX unit software does with that is up to you. I actually have an amp that uses a stereo foot switch like this that switches channels and turns on/off built-in multi effects, and this switch works with my amp.It comes with a too-short stereo cable, that’s only about 2 feet long. It really needs to be 6ft+ to use meaningfully, so I really wish they had included a longer cable. With a longer cable you could keep your multi-FX unit on a table (where you can twiddle the knobs) but put the foot switch on the floor or your pedal board. I’m knocking off just one star for the stereo cable being too short to really use.Otherwise, the unit is well built, all metal, and comes with grippy feet on the bottom. 4 stars.

This pedal is small, which makes it a space saving addition to my pedal board, but it functions just as it's supposed to and has been great to have for fast switching between amps. It's a quality pedal for a great price!

Two extra switches!! Just go into Global settings, choose the foot switch tab and assign FS4 and FS5 to Stomp 4 and Stomp 5.
