Why are these so cheap?
These pens are extremely inexpensive. They work great and sell amazingly. I don't have any complaint except there are no bushings. The ink rights well, and people love the bolt action style. I highly recommend.

Fits good. Will buy again

No instructions so no bushing size.
Should have read other reviews. No use buying if you don't know what bushing size to use. Nothing we had fits. Wasted money.

Product was ok. Surprised at the way the pens arrived in a plastic bag
Thought I was buying pen kits through Penn State Industries company. When the box arrive, it came in a plane white box with pens lose in box. Pens were partly assembled without wood blank needing to be supplied by user. Came time to assemble pen, the lower point of pen where ink tip comes out had a very difficult time getting threads to align up and make a snug connection. I know when I make a pen for someone, I want quality parts to use in the manufacturing of the pen. This place did not portray a company that uses quality material

can not refill pen
I ordered 2 sets and like them but the 2nd set had shorter brass tubes so the ink stuck out over 1/4 inch, the bad thing is the point and top of pen are pressed together, how do you replace the ink cartridge ???when the ink is out the pen is no good !!!!!!

They work perfect and press together nicely
You can use standard Bolt action bushings on a standard pen mandrel

Poor instructions and no bushings available to purchase from them.
I purchased these in late August and they arrived in a timely manner. The product is very nice for the price. The problem I have is that the supplier does not provide bushings required to turn this pen. I've made hundreds of pens and come to find that the Penn State bushing number PKCP3000BU is a perfect match for making these pens. The supplier also didn't include assembly instructions and as a result I damaged the cap of first one during the assembly process. I made a special tool that I used to press the cap onto the body of the pen. I cut a small 3/4" piece off of a pen blank, drilled a 7mm hole in the blank then after removing the brass bullet tip, I used the this tool to go over the threads on the cap to firmly press all parts together. I also left this on when I pressed the end cap on. The end result was very good.My suggestion to the seller is to provide bushing numbers of other manufacturers if they aren't going to offer them to their customers. They might want to include detailed assembly instructions too.I hope this helps all those wanting to purchase these products.
