First, I have owned a Citizen Eco-Drive watch for over a year, and I have had trouble with its losing time only once, when, for some reason, it had not been exposed to light as much as it usually would be--I think it was in a drawer while I was out of town. Honestly, these things charge up well under most conditions, the time stays accurate, and I usually have no complaint. When this watch arrived, unfortunately, the watch back was clearly about 20 degrees or so off center, and, given there's no easy way to remove it and reorient the back, I had to go to a jeweler. The design is fun, however, and the works perform well. I just wish there had been better quality control at the factory to assure the watch back was placed properly. Battery arrived dead, so I left in the window sill for a day with the winding stem pulled (ECO-DRIVE watches charge MUCH faster with the stem pulled out to the 2nd position) and it's working like a champ now. Very handsome watch for a child, teen or even and adult. I am not embarassed to wear this to the office and I'm 51. Band feels a little short so I may be upgrading that, but otherwise a very nice timepiece! My second ECO-DRIVE watch - love them!
