Very pleased, easy start, worth the money

Performs exactly as i wanted
Easy to start, smooth running. Not too fast, not too slow. If i reduce weight in boat it goes too fast and has cavitation problems. For me it is perfect 4 stroke and air cool no worries about sucking up mud into water pumps. Strong enough to plow throught thick grass. No extra space needed for gas tank.I dont do many reviews but i see lots of people asking about these motors.Very pleased.

Had my doubts when I ordered it.
This is the little motor that could. Air cooled, started on the second pull each time I have started it. I have my doubts about the stated HP but it moves my TAKACAT 280 quite nicely. The one complaint I have is the manual is horrible. Somebody with English as a first language should proofread these things before they are printed. This motor is as bare bones as it gets. The only kill switch is a red button on the side. No wrist strap. Just depress to kill the engine. The choke is 2 position, on and off. There is no primer bulb (although it doesn't seem to need one, I only mention it because I spent quite a bit of time looking for it). I like simple in a tender motor, less to have problems with. This little engine has been a pleasant surprise. Money well spent.
