It's a great budget option for your backyard or patio to block out the sun. It provides a nice amount of shade and has some ambient lighting and isn't too bright.If you are using the built in lights as your primary source, it'll more than likely be too dim but it's nice to see at night without blinding your neighbors

The media could not be loaded.  This is such a great idea, IMO :)I can hardly wait to install. -But I do have to wait due to weather and doing things in proper order.This sail feels very much like other sails I have purchased with the kind of plasticky woven kind of fabric. It seems well made.The hooks for installing are good and they even included 2 white nylon type cords for attaching to your structure.I took pictures to show what you get including pictures of the solar collector which has the controls on the other side of it. There is a corner with some extra reinforcing of the fabric where you plug the control module in. The cord is not long, (a few inches) and you would want that corner of the sail to be in the sun most of the day to charge.The controls are 'On' and 'Mode'. The modes are solid and twinkling and flashing - I thought they all were nice. I included a pic to show the little LED lights & wiring (arrow) are enclosed in a sewn-on fabric channel around the perimeter and a short video clip.They seem to be the fairy style lights and are spaced about 5 inches apart, which I think will be plenty. -For me, I would not want this to be very bright - it is a nice warm yellowish light. There is a dusk to dawn sensor, so they come on automatically; and there was some charge allowing the lights to work when I received mine.I can't wait to put these up!

Nice sunshade - it's well-made, a good size, not my favorite color but a nice neutral, does a good job at providing some shade from the sun and the lights are a nice touch/bonus. They are a nice mellow brightness - shouldn't bother anyone/neighbors. I like that it's solar chargeable, but it takes a long time/all day for it to charge enough to keep the lights on for a while. Overall, good product - I recommend.

Stretched this over my pergola and it is perfectGives nice shade in the day and a little ambience in the eveningAs for durability I won’t even bother talking about that until after a whole season of use because as of right now it’s new and hasn’t been sun baked. This material is strong and flexible but I’ve never had anything like this last more than two seasonsHowever I really like this shade it makes it nicer to sit out by the pool during the day

I've gone through a few of these sunshades over the years, I use them to try to keep my windows shaded to keep my condo cool. Adding the light string to it is a great idea. Let the sun gather the energy for the lights at night. I recommend this product.
