These washer/dryer risers were easy to assemble and are a real back saver. They seem to be steady and you have the space below for storage which makes a world of difference as well.

The media could not be loaded. We bought these to save money over buying the very expensive pedestals that come with the washer and dryer. These creak a lot. Shakes uncontrollably. I’m very worried our washer will be knocked out of balance. We checked and everything is leveled.

We got this pedestal set for our new washer and dryer and overall I would say I'm happy with them.The pedestal set requires assembly upon arrival. The set was not terribly difficult to build but, it was rough on my hands and finger tips. Each leg requires 4 screws and 4 nuts on both the top and bottom level per pedestal. The nuts would only twist onto the screw once or twice and they didn't align or thread super easily. The combination of the angles and position of the screws definitely hurt my hands after a while. I can not recommend enough using your own screw driver. I tried to assemble with the included Allen wrench style screw driver and not only did it hurt my hand but, it took twice as long as opposed to using my own screw driver. In order to tighten each screw and nut accordingly you do have to use the provided wrench to hold the nut and a screw driver to tighter together. Each pedestal took about 20 minutes to assemble with a little help from my husband. Once assembled I was able to carry the pedestal upstairs my self. (Getting our machines onto the pedestal was a whole other story that took at least twice as long)Once assembled and every screw is tightly secured the pedestals feel pretty sturdy and durable. So much so I trust to keep and use my brand new washing machine and dryer on them. The dryer does wobble a smidge if your pushing it or shake it but it does feel steady and secure and doesn't shake once its running/operating. I would assume any dryer would feel a smidge wobbly on any pedestal given how light they are. For reference our washing machine and dryer set are both 27" and they fit onto these pedestals great! I love that they do offer functional storage beneath my washer and dryer. I can store my extra laundry goods below my machines and maximize my laundry room space while also not creating an overly cluttered look. Most of all I love that they do a great job of raising my washer and drying making them more manageable and gentle on my back (especially given I'm tall).The pedestals do include these rubbery padded adhesive squares that go on the corners the pedestal stands that the washer and dryer legs/feet sit on. The one important thing I would say is make sure those are place according to your machine needs and placement. It's a son of a gun to adjust them if you place them first and find you need to move them to meet your machines feet (like we had to). The metal feet of the pedestals also have these little rubber caps that slide onto the bottom of the feet to protect our flooring which I do really appreciate. The flip side is that the leg/feet covers fall off easily. They can also bend and roll under the feet when sliding and moving the pedestals.Lastly, one of our pedestal frames was bent in the corner which I really hated. (3rd photo) I was worried it would be an issue but, fortunately, we were still able to fully assembly and tightly secure all screws. The screws did bring the corners together but it didn't bent or straighten out the bent corner. (It helped but didn't fully return the indent) Since the pedestal felt stable and secure fully assembled, I still feel comfortable and confident using this pedestal even with the slightly bent corner. I'll also mention that most of the corner to come together to be totally flush with all screws properly tightened but there was 1 or 2 corners that don't sit perfectly flush and even. (picture 4)Overall, I am loving this pedestal set! They function very well and look pretty good! They're strong, sturdy and hold our brand new 27" machine perfectly. I'm pretty happy with this pedestal set and would definitely recommend them! They suite our needs and our pocket well!

I will say these are pretty sturdy once assembled, even though I had doubts at first. They are nicer than the factory stands when it comes to noise there is none with these. The price point is half of what factory stands are as well. Assembly would have been fairly easy had I not had to straighten every corner on the shelf pieces. This was not a manufacturing issue, the UPS delivery was a little rough. At any rate the damage was easily fixed and the legs covered enough of the shelves to hide any imperfections.

If you have a front load washer and dryer then you know that all that bending can get a little bothersome, especially if you are getting older. These pedestals put the opening at much more comfortable height, which can be a back saver. I love that this is a 2 pack and that they are black. I do however wish that they had made the underneath part with drawers for keeping essentials, as it would have made a nice use of that space. Assembly isn’t too difficult but getting the washer and dryer up onto the pedestals is going to require some help. I think that these are a decent value, as I have seen some with double the price tag, but they also had drawers. With these you get the height you want and if you are creative you can make use of that space underneath.
