My kiddos love this now that it has warmed up!I love the multi packs making it easy for each child to keep track of their own set and the individual packages are quite sturdy and hold up really well.The chalk itself is super easy for little hands to hold and the colors are quite vibrant. I will see it is a bit of a pain to clean if you leave it for too long so I recommend washing it off after a day or two - which the kids love as an excuse to redecorate that space once it dries :)

This is a big pack of chalk. Perfect for a school room or any large group of kids. This is not art-level chalk, but it is good for casual fun. Each pack comes with two of each color, with all of the major colors covered. The chalk itself is about what you'd expect. It's chalkboard sized, so it's not thick enough to handle being used on sidewalks. But for chalkboards it does the job really well.

This is a nice set for goodie bags or a fun artsy activity for multiple kids. The colors are a bit light and the chalk sticks are better for older elementary age kids compared to preschoolers. I would say they have average durability-several broke pretty easily when drawing on asphalt.

As a surprise for one of my 4th-grade library classes, I took them outside and gifted them with a box of chalk to decorate our front walkway. The students were delighted at the opportunity and happy to receive the chalk as a gift. The chalk colored well on the sidewalk but broke easily if not held carefully. I suspect that the chalk would have been more durable on a classroom chalkboard… This did not detract from the students’ ability to draw bright and colorful designs. They were all able to draw hearts, stars, smiling suns, flowers, their names, and their friends’ names to their hearts content. I think that this was a very worthwhile purchase. I recommend it teachers and parents…it would make a great party favor.
