You have to understand what you are buying here to be happy with it. This isn't like a typical rug. It's very thin, can literally be folded, and the bottom is kind of like a rubber type mat. It can be machine washed, but the type of soft material it is allows for super easy spot cleaning & the stains come up easily. It has lines in it from being folded that take a bit to flatten out. It's so thin that my shark vacuum doesn't vacuum it well. It gets stuck. You have to really pull it to make sure it's flat so it doesn't bubble up in spots. I just laid it over my old rug to give cushion.UPDATE: SEPTEMBER, 3 MONTHS IN.I have had to wash the rug multiple times and it still looks as good as new. I have a large capacity LG washer without an agitator & it fits & cleans well. I just throw it in like laundry and let it do it's thing. Definitely makes this momma's life easier.

I absolutely love this rug! Queen bed on 8x10 rug in a 12x18 room. True to color listed. I love that it’s black but still subtle and matches so much!! It has some nonslip rubber on the back which is great but not too thick or bulky. The pile length is short so it is easy to vacuum and clean but still super soft!!!! I love this rug and will be getting another color for my living room!

Super soft material that holds up to daily use. I have even thrown it in the washer and it came out looking just as good as when I first opened it. Would definitely recommend!!!

The color is a creamy white with grey. This rug is thin and very soft to touch, the pattern and color is perfect! It’s machine washable! I ordered both a 5x7 and 8x10 rug so I’ll take the bigger rug to the laundromat when needed. It has a light rubber backing. I was worried the creases would be difficult to get out however they were not! This is my first washable rug, I’m very happy with it!

I had a smaller, and rather outdated rug that I wanted to replace, so I chose this one. It is very nice looking with a smooth surface that chair legs can actually slide across so you don't have to lift them up to move them. It is nice and big, lays flat, and so far it is staying in place, although it helps that it's anchored by a large trestle table and 8 chairs. It does have a backing with a bit of grip, but I think it would benefit from a pad underneath. It is pretty thin. My biggest concern with that is in vacuuming; I'm afraid the edges will get sucked up and ripped up by the vacuum cleaner. Indeed, when my son vacuumed, he had a hard time keeping the edges out of the beater bar of the vacuum. He had to stand on the edges and just get as close as he could without sucking them up. And this was on the lowest setting. My other concern is regarding spills. Being white and thin as well, I'm afraid spills will go right through to my wood floor, and be difficult to get out of the rug. We will have to be extra careful.I do like the rug and how it looks, and how much floor space it covers. But I do wish it was thicker and better padded to protect my floor better. But for the price, I guess that's what I get. It's not the most expensive rug out there. So, I guess I would recommend a rug pad and maybe some rug tape to keep the edges down for the sake of vacuuming and preserving the edges.
