The media could not be loaded. I'm using these at my company for makeshift elevator carriages for heavy product to be lifted up and down as needed to save everyone's backs (literally). A 3rd party robotics company was sent to help make us more efficient and safe, and quoted us almost $600,000 to install essentially the system that you see in my pictures and video. for less than 1/600th of the price, I was able to throw this together in a day. These hoists seem very strong and I hope that they continue to be reliable. we are lifting anywhere from 50 to 200 lbs at a time, and so far I'm very pleased.The speed of lift with 55 pounds is 20 feet at exactly 28 seconds... which is actually 21% faster than advertized.

Doesn’t get much more simple to install and use, replaced a manual rope and pulley set up for game hanging and removing utv back seat and rack. Works great, both are now a one man job with the touch of a button! Only had it for 3 months but quality seems good and it has already been worth the price in saving time and physical strain!

I bought this to move my 16 foot hay elevator in and out of the loft. It does the job well and does not seems to be working all that hard. I can use it to pull the elevator back into the loft when I am done using it, or to lower it slowly to the ground with another person on a tag line to make sure the bottom placement is correct. Since I have no power in my barn, I run it using power from a Honda EU-2200 generator. I have no need for the 2 to 1 advantage option that can be used, but I am glad that I have it if needed. The operation is fairly straightforward. Just remember to twist the emergency stop button to reset it.

As everyone else is saying the controller cable is too short but besides that it has held up the abuse I have put it through, only thing I did was installing a 100 ft rope since the 30 ft it came with didn't fit my needs, still will buy a second one in case this one ever fails 100% recommend at this price point

Bought this originally to lift a car lift into position from the floor to 142'' height by myself and figured it might come in handy sometime later on. It did the job with ease and , thank God the rafters held up ,which i was terrified would come down. There is no kind or ''release'' if thing started to go awry, but how often would you need one. Anyway the product did ITS job well. Everything worked extremely well, strong and smooth.

This does everything well. I have it attached to two trolley wheel assemblies and rolling in unistrut channel, attached to I-beams about 20’ above the ground. We lift theatrical furniture and props up to the second floor mezzanine. Sometimes 20 or more lifts a day. This is up to the task. I lengthened the control cord to 15’ long. It uses 16/4 cable.

It is no fault of the product but for my old body it was plenty heavy getting this installed in my barn. It seems to be built plenty strong for it's rating. I doubt I have lifted more than 400 lbs with it and handles that easily. It's speed is sometimes a little fast for delicate lifts so I leave the sheave in place rather than doing a direct pull to slow it down. The wired remote control is a little short for my installation. I need to see about extending that. For the price it's a great value.

I like these so much I have 2 of them now. One on my gantry replacing that slow, dirty chain-fall and the other in the rafters of my barn to unload my fuel tank from the back of my pick up. If I had one thing, I wish it worked a little slower. It's pretty fast and jerky sometimes.
