Not helpful as a remedy for tremors but would be good for exercising
I suffer from a condition called “essential hand tremors,” which causes my hands to tremble extensively and makes doing just about everything more difficult. I tried these weights to see if they would help calm my tremors while doing tasks that involve using my hands. The first thing I realized is that these weights can be put on two different ways. Make sure you strap them on so that the weight is on the top side of your wrists rather than underneath. With the weights put on correctly, I wore them around the house doing normal everyday tasks – putting away clean dishes, making the bed, typing on a keyboard, texting, etc. They didn’t make much difference for those tasks. When I lifted my hands above my head, the extra weight made the tremors worse. That being said, I realize that tremor relief is not the intended purpose of this product.I would recommend them for those who want a little extra weight while exercising. They fit well and are fairly easy to put on.

Quite useful, decent quality
I intend on using these wrist weights in multiple ways. Of course as wrist weights which I can use at the time of doing cardio exercises - this includes treadmill and elliptical and also at the time of doing weights. And I have tried it both ways and this product is reasonably successful at both. While doing cardio exercises, these weights add something to your wrists which along with your arm movements allows your muscles to be exercised - both shoulders, biceps and chest. it's not a strenuous exercise but nevertheless quite useful. And it allows you to do good warm up for doing weight training next. For the second use case when I use them to do workouts, my primary focus is on protecting wrists against bending while doing say bench press or barbell curls. If you tighten these wrist weights well then your wrists won't bend and it's a good use of this product. It protects you from injury. There is one small limitation - the Velcro isn't as strong or good quality as it should be. You can see in the pictures that one of the Velcro parts has a bend along the wrist so when the other part is attached, it doesn't attach so well because it is straight, as in without bend. So far this hasn't caused an issue but having used similar products in the past, the Velcro quality should have been better as that's typically the break point.Overall however would still recommend a buy as these are good value for money too.

Nice Weights
You didn't know you needed these, but you do. Weight training is hugely important for maintaining muscle mass, especially as we age. I have been a fan of wrist weights for years, since the Jane Fonda Workout days (yes, those are gray hairs), but the thing I have always hated was the weights sliding around while I moved my arms. Well, that little thumb loop is a game changer! It totally solves that issue. I cannot express how happy I am about being able to move my arms (think Tai Chi, or Pilates-type of fluid movements) and have the weights stay where I want them to stay. I use the 2 pound weights the most, and think they are amazing. Thanks, Amazon!

Better than I thought they’d be
I actually like these weights and was expecting to be disappointed because these sort of weights can be very uncomfortable…I don’t find them uncomfortable at all,in fact I had them on for four hours today nd they didn’t bother me. They fit perfectly. Best way to describe them is like a wrist brace for carpal tunnel. The thumb goes through the hole and it tightens by Velcro. The fabric is soft and the color is nice. It’s a great way for me to work my arms. Glad I ordered them!

Quite small
These work, but are actually quite small. I have particularly dainty wrists, a product of being hypermobile, and these are small even for me. They will close around my wrists, but only just, and they are not particularly comfortable through the thumb holes. But they do work as advertised.I wear these while using my MaxiClimber climbing machine, paired with ankle weights, for resistance and extra toning and training. The velcro is pretty strong, thankfully, but they are pretty tricky to get velcroed. The construction is actually pretty solid, well-stitched, and the weight is evenly distributed, so they don't over or unbalance the limbs they are on while in use.

Pretty Color With Extra Stability
I admit that I got these for the pretty lilac color, although I did need 2 pound hand weights. The ones I currently have are for the wrist without the added stability of a thumb loop. That is what appealed to me. These are a little heavy for me. I am small-boned, and while I can use them for stationary exercises, they would not be suitable for my long walks. The Velcro is secure, and I appreciated the added buckle for a tighter fit. The thumb loop helps a lot, but I think it would have been better as a fingerless glove. The thumb band is rather thin, considering the amount of weight; and they do move around a little. I also used them as ankle weights, which I prefer. Great for static exercises for quad and glute work. I am happy to have them and will use them for shorter walks and general toning. In fact, as I'm writing this, I am doing leg extensions with them on my ankles. Overall recommend, depending on your body size and fitness level.

They are exactly what you expected.
These wrist weights are pretty much what you would expect them to be. They come in mirror image pairs for the right and left hand. They are easy to put on if you first set the Velcro strap loose so that you can slip your hand in and then when on, readjust the Velcro strap to the desired tightness. I have included a copy of the instructions in the picture. I confirmed with a magnet that the internal weights are iron. This might explain why the instructions tell you not to immerse them in water. The iron might rust and stain the material if soaked in water. Other than that caution, the weights should cause no performance problems.
