We love this weighted blanket. At first, it felt like someone was sitting on me, but ince I got used to it, I love it!! I sleep better, don't wake up multiple times a night and don't move as much in my sleep (according to my hubby). Don't hesitate...get one!!

I usually never leave reviews, but after trying this blanket it became necessary. I'm absolutely in love with it! At first I thought weighted blankets were a bunch of woo woo but they're seriously so comfortable. I struggle a lot with anxiety but the weight of the blanket makes it feel like your being swaddled like a baby and I find that very comforting. I actually wish it was appropriate for me to bring it to work and use it for comfort.The weight on this thing is evenly distributed, and not overwhelming. I was concerned the blanket (15 lbs) would be too heavy for me (120 lbs) and feel like a heavy weight on my chest. That was most definitely not the case.Lastly, I also purchased a cotton cover to go with it and that was soooo worth the investment. It's super soft and it's going to be much easier to wash than the blanket. Overall this product is AWESOME and I highly reccomend. I'll be purchasing one for my boyfriend for Christmas. (Because now he wants to take mine)

Update 9/4/18: Because I love this blanket so much, and did feel I could use more weight, I ordered a 2nd blanket less than two weeks later. The new one is the same excellent quality, but arrived in a different shade of gray, so I've posted a picture so you can see the difference (and that the squares are 6" as stated). The 1st one was a neutral to slightly warm mid-tone gray, the 2nd one is a more blue toned gray (I'm sorry I couldn't capture the exact colors, but you can see the difference). Fortunately I am using them on top of each other, but if I had wanted to use them side by side I would have been disappointed. I'm bringing this up because if you will be using them side by side, I recommend buying them both at the same time since the fabric may come from different dye lots.I do love the extra weight, and don't find the 30lbs to be too heavy for me, but it definitely makes it warmer, so I have to leave the fan on or turn down the thermostat to stay comfortable in the summer. It will be great for winter!Original Review:I have always loved the feeling of heavy blankets and comforters piled on top of me, but it's too hot in the summer to do that. I was thrilled to find that a weighted blanket was actually "a thing", and I can use it in the summer without getting too warm! After looking at many weighted blankets, I chose this one for the great reviews on the quality, the price, and that it had glass beads instead of plastic for the weight.I originally wanted a 20lb blanket, but due to the price difference, and the fact that I didn't even know if I would like it, and with the idea I could add another blanket for additional weight in the future, I went with the 48"x72" 15lb.It feels heavy when you handle it, but it is not at all uncomfortable to sleep under. In fact, I think I am sleeping much better, since I often wake up in the middle of the night and can't fall back to sleep, and that hasn't happened since I started using this blanket about a week ago.The blanket itself is a super soft cotton, and the beads make no noise at all. The weight seems to be evenly distributed and the quality is excellent. It comes in a very nice box that would be a lovely presentation if you are giving this blanket as a gift.At this point the only con I can see is that it must be dry cleaned, but since I use it on top of a sheet, that shouldn't be a problem. All in all this blanket has been one of the best purchases I have ever made!

It felt weird at first. Bought it to help with restlessness. It works. First night I slept for a solid 6 hours. Getting better sleep each night with it.

My son has slept so much better with his blanket. The weight is evenly distributed. Great product. I may buy one for my bed.

I was sceptic at the beginning but after the second night I’ve been sleeping like I’ve haven’t been able in years. I used to wake up during the night, now I don’t.

Good price. Material was nice. Not too hot or cold.Found it too heavy to sleep a whole night under, as it caused my hip pain to flair up, but that could just be me.But I love relaxing under it at the end of the day. It has that nice pressure feel of a hug, and isnt too hot.I weigh 140lbs, 5'8" for reference. Fits well over my body.

If a person likes sleeping with a duvet already, they are going to love a weighted blanket. However, if being hot is a terrible thing, avoid all weighted blankets. Try as I might, even partially covered by the weighted blanket I was a raging furnace. I normally just sleep with a sheet with a thin blanket nearby in case I get the chills. I had a 5 year old and a 10 year old try it. Both ended up stopping using it due to heat issues. My 5 year old girl was able to use it the longest but only during the winter when she was sleeping in the room of which we think the insulation has compressed within the walls (the room is typically 17-19C, 63-67F). Other than that room, our house is kept at a consistent 20.5 C to 21.5 C (69F-71F). This specific product is very well made. I'm impressed! No issues I can speak of.

Lots of loose threads and poor quality stitching. The weight distribution is fine but the overall quality is just fair at best.
