Strong secure base. Bowl can be fragile if not protected over the winter
This bird bath was just what I needed in my garden. Assembly was easy. I particularly like the 4-prong base, which keeps it very stable in the soil. The plastic bowl easily comes out for cleaning or refilling. All in all, I’m pleased with the purchase. As others noted, the bowl is somewhat fragile. That mine cracked is, however, entirely my own fault. It’s rigid plastic, and I left it out over the winter. The base is fine, but it’s not really a surprise to me that the bowl didn’t survive. Entirely operator error. BUT, not all is lost! I replaced the bowl with an inexpensive 10” silicone cake pan. It works great! The stand is sturdy and the birds can bathe/drink/or do whatever else they do in the bath.

Good But Some Issues
I bought 2 a month ago, the blue and the copper, intending on using the blue for a birdbath and the copper for birdseed for doves, blue jays, etc that can’t easily eat from a traditional bird feeder. Number one these are only useful if they can be in the shade at all times. Being metal I hadn’t thought of how hot they would get. The edges get too hot for a bird to land on and the water gets very hot. (My glass one doesn’t do that in the heat, it has other issues but not that). Our soil is pretty rocky so I can’t get them pushed all the way into the ground, about 3/4 but they are still very sturdy and I believe would withstand even a squirrel visit. There isn’t any signs of rust on the bowls but there is some on the post. The bowl/dish is a great size for larger birds like blue jays and cardinals to bathe in and even the sparrows and chickadees love it. It is easy to clean because the dishes just set in them so that is a plus. It is a very slim profile so that’s positive if that’s what you’re looking for. Maybe I didn’t zoom in enough lol but I was surprised that the blue is really just random paint brush strokes over a black dish. At first I was disappointed but I’m fine with it now. The copper color in my opinion looks nicer, not so painted looking. I am overall happy with them, I just can’t place them where I wanted to because it’s not continuously in the shade.

Very solid pedestal style feeder
I've bought other bird feeders in this price range with pot metal thin components that bend and snap off easily. This feeder however has very thick and solid metal stakes that seem attached well. The bowl on the Retro Blue variant is solid and heavy, ceramic maybe. I ordered a second unit with how pleased I was but it was the Black bowl, and that one is made out of plastic, hasn't blown out of the feeder but it's much lighter weight. It worked out well because I could drill some holes into the plastic bowl to help water escape, and use the solid bowl for water. Birds flood this thing, and I even had a squirrel standing on the food one stretch over to the water bowl for a sip. So cute!Anyway these are the feeders to get, they're actually solid! Very easy to clean and refill too! Would recommend!

It is what it is
It is what it is. I don't think it will last more than a season (assuming the plastic basin doesn't blow away) but that doesn't seem to bother the birds who use it frequently. I, however, find it more decorative than functional. I wish it was more durable.

Great product
Hmmm…..if I had taken time to read the reviews before purchase I likely would not have purchased this item. BUT, I am glad I didn’t read them. I am very pleased with this birdbath. It arrived in excellent condition, went together easily and is much sturdier than I had expected at the low price. The four long metal prong legs look like they will stand up to squirrels jumping on it. The plastic bowl is a bit deeper than other birdbaths I have had but flat rocks on the bottom will work to give a higher platform for little birds. The bowl is seated very well and will not fall or blow off, won’t break in the winter like a glass bath or boil in the summer like a metal one. Totally happy with this item.

Easy to clean, worth the price
Love the smaller size, very convenient to be able to take the bath part out and wash/refill. Happy with this, birds are too.
