I have been feeding my dog organic kibble since she was a puppy and now the cost is not affordable at $130 for 18 pounds. Some say this is pricey but to know that nothing is sourced from China makes it well worth it for me. Besides all dog food is pricey anymore as is our own food!What I like about this is that Salmon is the number one ingredient, Taurine is added for heart health since this is grain free, Quinoa is a high protein seed, and Pumpkin is high fiber to help digestion. It was formulated by a doctor who has studied digestive health for 30 years!I am glad that it has no fruits or potatoes because of their pesticide residues and there is no Menhaden White fish which is over harvested and endangering the Atlantic Ocean.It took a long time reading all the ingredients of so many kibbles before I found Lucy Pet which has limited and high quality ingredients for dogs with sensitive stomachs!I feel good about feeding this to my sweet dog and she likes it, it is easy to chew.

My dog doesn’t like it... I mixed several foods together and she left these kibbles behindUPDATED: I think these were too big for my dog when she was a puppy. Now that she's 8 months, she tried it and she eats it up, also her stools look healthier.

Have a 16 year old German Shepherd and a 7 year old Maltese-poo and they both have bad teeth, but they also need food that has some crunch to it to keep their teeth clean and this is the right balance -- crunchy, but not like rocks.Their coats are healthy and shiny. Their poop looks healthy -- yeah talking sh*t, but hey that's the product of a healthy gut. They poop less with this stuff than many other products. Some foods they would tire of, but this hasn't been a problem with Lucy brand. I seem to be sticking with the Salmon, but have fed the Duck flavor to them before and they liked that as well.This brand was recommended to me by the owner of the Kennel and Dog Obedience School I have used for years and they raise pure bred dogs and train them, and they also have the best Kennel facility in two counties -- I trust them and their knowledge and they have come to know the owner and trust the quality of the food --- and THAT is good enough for me and then I see the results.

The media could not be loaded. We got this food for our 3 dogs a husky, Weimaraner and a mixed mutt.. I ordered at at 10:30 at night. I'm am a n mod shift nurse and get home late. Anyway, we have been searching for a better food option. We homemade our dog food for the last year which is really expensive but we would have continued of it was what was best for our boys, but they were losing too much weight and we decided to try another brand from Chewy. That one was 70 a bag, however there was a recall on it and I was very unhappy because I had put a lot of work into figuring out a good food. Went back online did more homework on the best food out there and Lucy pet came up.. I was a bit worried about switching our boys again but after receiving it I don't feel as worried now.First off as I mentioned I ordered the food at night and the next morning it was on my porch before I left for work! So fast!Second, I opened the bag and the food smelled pretty good. The nuggets themselves are almost flake disc. They are not your typical round hard balls. I mixed them with ground venison and beef broth then heated it up and they softened and are very easy to work with, leaving a nice texture for them. They scarfed down the food no complaintsLastly, I will update about any changes I see with them but so far so good but we have 1 meal under our belt.This seems like a good food from what I can tell so far.**Update** this is the 3rd bag and we are still in love with this food! Our dogs love it. It smells fresh. I have had no problems with it at all. I have found stuff in my other dog food like feathers rocks and even glass in another bag of other high quality food and this has been the best food ever!

My dog will eat just about anything if she is extremely hungry, but she is basically a gourmet. She prefers very flavorful foods and I thought that this more expensive brand might entice her to eat, but she really didn't like it very much. I had to add things to it to get her to eat it. I give her Salmon and sweet potato kibble more than other flavors so I know it's not that. She will often eat new food with some excitement, but treated this one as if it was bland. I won't buy again, although it was packaged fine and I did buy it at a sale price. It seemed to have good ingredients.
