Easy, and worked perfectly.
Kentucky Sky. Okay so I needed a white stuffed animal to be blue for a baby shower. I wanted a baby blue color. First off, I waited until the last minute to do this. My bad. I did not have a pot large enough. I filled my kitchen sink with hot water to cover the toy. Added in 1tsp dish soap and one pot of boiling water. Then I added in half the bottle of dye. After a few minutes I figured I should add the whole bottle of dye, as my sink is bigger than a pot. In about 5-10 minutes I thought the color was good. I squeezed the water out and set it on a towel. My sink is white, and had a blueish ring around, so I used some bleach and it cleaned right up. Then I put the toy in the dryer with the towel and some dark sheets. End results are fabulous! The color came out exactly how I wanted. And the toy looks like it was purchased that way. So simple. And despite me not following the instructions, I had good results!

Amazing Color and Coverage for My Skirt!
I used the Synthetic Rit Dye More Liquid Fabric Dye in Super Pink to dye a Rose Quartz skirt, and the results were stunning! The color is vibrant and rich, just as I hoped it would be. It dyed the fabric evenly, and the liquid dye was super easy to use.The coverage was perfect, and I love how bright and bold the color turned out—it's exactly the pop of pink I was looking for. The dye worked well on the synthetic fabric, and the skirt feels soft and smooth after the process. Highly recommend for anyone looking to refresh their wardrobe or add a fun color to their clothes!

It worked!
Decided to try and dye my dirndl to make it one of a kind unique. I used the dyemore synthetic because the garment is 80% polyester 20% cotton. Wish I would’ve remembered to take actual before pictures! Thankfully I snapped a pic of how the dress laced so I at-least have that to show as a before and after. I wasn’t sure how this would turn out but I was hopeful. I didn’t have a large enough pan for the stove that would hold 3 gallons of water so I only used just over 2 gallons with a full bottle of dye. Really had no idea what I was doing other than trying to follow directions close as I could. Tried to maintain temperature and stirred for around 10 minutes. Color looked good to me so I drained and started rinsing. Then read that I was supposed to use the dye fixative right away after so I filled up the pot again, added about half the bottle of fixative, and submerged the dress again. (Not sure if this is how it’s supposed to be done for sure but it worked) Tried to maintain temperature and stirred consistently. After about 10 minutes I was losing patience and everything was looking good, so I dumped the pot and rinsed with cold water. Then laundered in washing machine delicate cycle/cold water with mild detergent and hung dress to let air dry. It turned out beautifully. Very impressed. Was so worried I was going to mess this up but it turned out just fine! Very happy with the results. Highly recommend this product.

Warning NOT BLACK but grayish
I have used this several times to dye old US Military Surplus Gear.Since it is mostly synthetic materials, this is the one to use. However, this color IS NOT BLACK.It is graphite which is a type of (medium) gray and depending on the base color of the items being dyed can turn out purplish to blueish gray.

Hot pink rit dye is a fantastic color
I’ve been using rit dye for years. It is great value for the money, and it’s really easy to use. It does not smell like anything. When the directions are followed, the coverage is excellent and the dye job itself lasts for a long time because it is quality and durable. When I dye something, it seems to have a bit more stain resistance.

DIDN'T WORK!
Read and researched everything I could before buying anything (there are different dyes for different materials) Specifically got this for my curtains that were faded by the sun at my outdoor sitting area. Followed the instructions and I was left with what I started with. I've dyed shirts and other cotton items before without any issues. This dye is specifically for synthetic materials and 100% polyester is a synthetic material last time I checked. Even used the ColorStay Dye Fixative afterwards to lock the color in. After I pulled them out of the big pot I used to heat up the water outside they did look a little darker (because they were wet). When they dried nothing changed you could still see the same sun faded areas. The curtains were a medium gray color to start with and I used the darkest color I could (Graphite) to just try and make them all one color again. The only things that changed color was the pot and the big cooler that I used to rinse them in. I even went back the next day and tried to put one back in the pot and let it soak longer (a few hours) and still nothing. Waste of my money/time for sure. I read reviews all the time and a lot of them I can see where people's problems are user error, but this time I'm writing a review. Try it if you want to because it's your money/time that's up to you. For me I'll never try and dye anything that's not 100% cotton.

Get more dye than you think
Good color, close to the picture. But you need a lot of dye. Follow the instructions on the bottle close for best results. Had to do it a second time to achieve results that i wanted.
