Goodbye old school tite joint bolts!!! I will never go back! These things worked perfect and very fast. Super fast and very strong and tight installation. Easy prep and setup with 1" forstner bit and 3/8" straight router bit. No template is necessary. My only complaints are mine didnt come with a hex bit and there were no instructions letting you know what type and size bit you need. It took some testing of a few bits before i got it right. Also, it would be nice if there were some instructions in the package or a paper template to lay out dimensions for the bolts. Obviously this can be overcome with some simple and basic measuring, but some instructions or paper template for first time users would be helpful and speed things up.Thanks for a great product!

The product wasn't properly machined and required extra labor to make the operate properly, after the repair they are working fine

I used these to align 2 45° edges on an inside corner for my counter. This was very hard oak butcher block. I also used biscuits and glue. I am generally happy with the product, it was adequate and holding together nicely after moving around the counter quite a bit and 3 weeks of installation.My only complaint is that I wanted to tighten it more. The drill started stripping the mechanism after a certain point. Perhaps it was the hardness of the oak that I was fighting, but I just wanted 20% more umpf to secure them even better. Still generally happy with it.

First time review on Amazon; only taking the time to do so because the product performed so poorly.Made a 2-piece desk-top for my son and daughter-in-law, 2 each sheets of wood 5' x 2 1/2'Thought about how to edge join them together, happened across these fasteners.The design looked slick --> fastening at 90 deg to the board surface makes it easy to use.But when tightened down the fasteners broke. Looked at the broken part in more detail, noticed that the "teeth" that are part of the 90 deg "gear" in the fastener just broke off. These 2 90 deg gears appear to be die cast and the teeth on them not very "beefy". (I'm a mechanical engineer by profession.)This fastener is the "thinnest" offered by the manufacturer (e.g. I needed to use this because my desktop boards were not very thick). Possible the "thicker" fasteners available have beefier gears.Especially disappointed because the fasteners are not cheap !! Next time will try another fastener type that is stronger.

First time user of this product and was thrilled with the ease of use and how tight it pulled 2 walnut countertops together to create an "L". Used an allen wrench to tighten and tightened it hard with no slipping and didn't break. I used 3 bolts on a 25 inch wide countertop. Glad I bought extra because I'll use them again.

These draw bolts were just what I needed to bring two pieces of butcher block counter together. The directions were not the best, for cutting out the slots necessary to insert them, but at the same time it wasn't too difficult to figure out. I made the slots for the draw bolts using a plunge router.The draw bolts seem to be sturdy and the included drill bit was good quality. I am very happy with this product and would buy it again if needed.

These are cheaply made units. Attempts to tighten the bolts has not gone well. The tighteningmechanism is poorly made and just slips when you attempt to tighten the bolt.I suppose they sell them in 6 pack so that hopefully you get two that work.

Used a router to get these in my butcher block counter. Worked well. The mechanism for tightening pulled the pieces together really well and they are SNUG. Would not hesitate to buy again. Much better than local alternatives from big box stores.
