Quantek 10 LED Super Bright Automatic Wireless Motion Activated Battery Powered Night Light - Hallway Light - Porch Light - with Built in Day/Night Light Sensor - Indoor or Outdoor Use

I bought this to replace another make, which had stopped working due to water getting in. This one is far easier to put the batteries in and install and works perfectly. It's for a porch so that it lights up when I get home and, so far, it works just fine with a nice bright light. I really like the ease of battery replacement as there are no fiddly screws to unscrew. I can't comment on battery life as haven't had it long enough.

So far so good. I have located these under the eves of my large garden storage shed to light access. They are bright - although not enough to constitute a full security light - but thats not what I wanted. They do the job of lighting the path area and access really well - the motion detectors are responsive to about 15ft and reliable. These are a very good alternative to running a mains supply. I would not risk using them without cover from rain though. The units can be removed to use as a torch as well although the switch to change to full-on mode is internal. The clamp mechanism could be a bit more robust as one of the rubber feet dropped out whilst fitting. I think these are the best value and best designed of all the products in this category I have looked at and appear to be much more reliable than similar solar linked battery lights in UK winter months.

What a fantastic product this is. I've just completed the build of a new porch on my house and didn't want the hassle of wiring up a porch light straight away. This little beauty is so simple to use. The bracket mounts with just one screw (screw and rawplug are both provided). The light clips into the bracket very easily, so can also be easily removed for battery fitting/replacement. Replacing batteries is a doddle, the back cover simply twists off and you pop in your batteries and twist the cover back on again. Three position switch just above the battery compartment for "off", "on" and "auto". Off and On pretty much speak for themselves. In the auto setting the light automatically comes on in the hours of darkness when it detects movement, simple.Does it give off enough light? Short answer, "Yes". Gives off so much light that I've now abandoned the idea of actually wiring up any lighting in there. This will do nicely thank you.

Now, this is a neat LED battery-powered sensor light. It is lightweight and small, so easy to locate in many places. Fitted mine in the porch to illuminate front door for visitors and avoid key fumbling in the dark.It is ambient light sensitive (it is responsive to background light and only works if dark)! Easy to fit, control and direct. What's more, it is reasonably priced. Perfect. Can highly recommend.

I saw something similar being advertised on Facebook and before purchasing thought I would look on Amazon. There I found these little gems. I ordered 2 and received very quick delivery. It took a little time to unscrew the sphere Rather slippy to get hands round. But once opened, easy to put in batteries. Whilst sphere is open you have to flick a little black switch to either on off or auto. We have them on auto so it's like a motion detector. I have one inside a dark cupboard and as soon as I start opening the door the light comes on illuminating the whole walk in cupboard. I am going to fix the other one outdoors by the bins. Very impressed with light given out. Can also be used as a torch!

A good light for the porch. Even though it is shaded by the wall a little, it only switches on when it is suitably dark. It it bright enough for my needs and the light can be adjusted to pretty much any angle in a very simple way. Installation is simple and it can be taken off the wall easily. Would have preferred it to have a more solid fixing to the wall, maybe on a backing plate that it could then be attached to and removed as needed.

delivered today; through prime and well packaged as always. 2 minutes later screwed in above the door of cupboard and in place tested and works a treat, even on sunny day when i open the door to cupboard it detects movement and light pops on, I was worried it would detect the sun and not turn on but what a great product. Gives off a bright light from 3 fairly old AA batteries and real bright from brand new ones. recommended, and might buy another for the porch whilst so cheap.
