This little gadget removed tiny ticks that my regular remover couldn't grab.

Bought these because tick season is really bad this year on the island. I was going to bed & picked my dog up and happened to feel a tick attached to his shoulder. I grabbed the key & watched a quick YouTube video on how to use it. You literally put the key flush to the skin and just slide it over the tick no matter the direction. It took the tick off my dog instantly just like the video. Attached two photos to show that it took the entire tick off, head & all. My dog didn’t even flinch! I had a cup of dish soap ready to go to put the tick in. The key held into the tick after removal & I swirled it around in the soap to kill it.

Well, I have used these keys on several occasions and they cleanly remove these small ticks completely. Check with your medical professional after for completing the treatment, and maybe listed to your wife the next time.

Great idea, haven't had a chance to use them though so I guess that s a good thing!

Good thing to have in tick country

We encounter a lot of ticks in our household, so we ordered the 3 pack. I would have liked to pick my colors, but it really didn't matter too much. The first tick extraction was on my son's head, and this worked easily, even over his thick hair. The second tick extraction was more difficult. this was on my other son's head, and even with gently coaxing and trying to slide the key under the tick's body, I needed to use the tweezers to keep the tick from twisting sideways and slipping through the key. Ultimately, it was still safely removed, with the head intact. I fully recommend this as part of your first aid/travel kits.

Our dog's superpower is finding and getting ticks. She has the new Lyme Disease Vaccine, but the ticks don't know that. During non snow months we typically pull quite a few a week using The Tick Key.
