Worth the money, for an Amazon Chair.
It smells like real leather. It feels like real leather. Most leather chairs, even in cars, have genuine leather on the seating surfaces and then "leather match" on the backs and underside. "Leather match" means various forms of fake leather. I don't want to open the zipper on this chair to check. I can't tell if the back of the chair is genuine leather or fake. If it's fake, I'm impressed. The seating surface, the arm rests, the ottoman are genuine leather. It's a heavy chair. It takes only eight bolts to assemble. The chair ships in two boxes. The outside box of my shipment was beat up and had open seams. The bolts were tethered to the inside by a red ribbon so they couldn't fall out. I suspect some people miss that the bolts are taped to the box and accidentally throw them out with the packaging. The chair, ottoman, and their bases all have a sticker that says "Front" with an arrow. Line up the arrows, install the four bolts and you're done. There is an instruction pamphlet. The headrest tilts forward two ratchet notches. I originally thought the mechanism was faulty, because it wouldn't stay forward. Then I looked at the instructions, and discovered my headrest works correctly. It's a surprisingly solid, sturdy, very comfortable, genuine leather recliner with ottoman. I added a picture from the instructions that confirms exactly how the chair reclines. It's an excellent cable release. I think those chairs which require you to loosen a knob, adjust the recliner, and then retighten the knob, are a lazy design.

Great looking, super-comfortable chair (and great customer service)
Purchased the brown leather version on Prime Day. Both boxes arrived much sooner than expected, just 3 days after ordering. All parts were well packaged and labeled. In theory, assembly is very easy given there are only a few nuts and bolts that need to be attached. However, like several other reviews mentioned, the bolts to connect the ottoman base to the ottoman were too short (bolts provided were M6 x 25mm, I went out and bought M6 x 30mm which worked fine). The curvature on the base of the chair was a bit off as well. I had to flatten out the metal a bit, remove the felt pads (attached thinner ones), and use a decent amount of force to realign the bolts coming down from the chair to make it all align, but eventually it did. Many of these issues could be due to shifts/bumps during shipping (though our boxes looked relatively undamaged), so some people may have a much easier time than othersOnce the chair was assembled, I was very happy with the overall quality and appearance. The chair has a classic mid-century look with modern updates, and the recline and swivel features have the perfect weight/feel. The quality of the materials is top notch in absolute terms, and even more impressive given the price point. As other reviews note, there are a bunch of stickers on the bottom of the bases but they aren't visible the way the chair is set up in our room.I contacted customer service with the assembly issues and they were very responsive and understanding of the issues, and offered up some solutions. Given the overall quality of the product and quick response from Chita company support staff, I'd definitely buy the chair again.

Sturdy, stylish, comfortable and well-made chair at a great price
The teal leather is more beautiful and rich in color than I imagined from the image. I'm thrilled!Fast 2-day delivery; received both boxes in the same shipment. Yes, the steel bases and the wood and leather chair are very heavy. While the boxes and assembled chair are too heavy to lift by myself, I had no trouble maneuvering everything into place by sliding without assistance. Assembly was simple. Only negative would be removing the extra large white labels stuck to the undersides of chair and footrest. They leave a sticky residue that takes a fair amount of elbow grease to rub off. DO NOT use a label solvent as that can damage the finish.Highly recommended purchase.

Decent with a couple of notes
This is a pretty heavy-duty leather and wood chair that is a nice design and, so far, seems well built. Pretty comfortable to sit in for long periods of time. My second shipping box (with the top parts of the chair and ottoman) arrived badly beaten up with very slightly dented leather. Customer service was quick and remedied my situation. A couple of things that I really wish were different about this chair and ottoman:1. Both the chair and ottoman rotate, but have fixed resting positions. If you swing either, they will swing back to this resting position. I like this feature except that they are both heavy (a good thing from a build perspective) and getting the two to line up is a bit of work. You can't line them up by rotating the upper parts, only by getting on the floor and rotating the bases. It's a bit of a challenge (especially on carpet) and I don't know what a good solution for this might be.2. The headrest is adjustable in two directions: front-to-back and up-down. Good thing right? It could have been. The front-to-back works fine when you understand how it works. The up-down is designed a little bit like a car headrest without, however, the option to lock it in place. And it really doesn't have enough snap to hold itself in place. If it's raised and you put any kind of pressure on it it will push down and usually at a random angle. Pretty irritating.All-in-all it's a good chair for a decent price. Not sure that I'd purchase it again though given my time with it so far.
