Needed an upgrade to becone sturdy enough
The handrail and uprights are great and just what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the tabs that attach the handrail to the uprights are very flimsy sheet stainless steel and caused the handrail to flex and wobble. I was putting these rails in for my parents who are needing some stable and study handrails and I wasn't comfortable with them using them as they came. I bought some aluminum "T" and fabricated new tab attachments for the handrail and they worked great and are very sturdy. Honestly, I would have preferred to buy something stainless and sturdy, but couldn't find a product.

Not very sturdy
The railing looks great but the mounting flanges are not welded with a continuous bead they are spot weld welded. The pivot points where the railing mounts to the uprights is very flimsy and can be bent easily.

Sturdy and strong handrails
I received my package on time fast delivery. But l was very disappointed with my order l order an Chrome Stainless Steel handrails that was supposed to been shiny according to the picture but what I received was a dull matted Stainless Steel handrails with greasy fingers print all over the hand rails and wasn't able clean off. In Desperate need of the handrails I put them up dissatisfied but it will do the job my parents really needed the handrails. l wasn't able to use the hardware that came with rails l found it to be difficult l Went to Lowe's and a sales rep found screws that will fit the holes and it work out very well. Very sturdy and strong.

Flimsy, wont survive the rated 551lbs.
Stripped 3 screws, snapped 2. I used to be an equipment assembler so it wasn't my fault, the hardware is cheap. The pipes themselves are fine, but the screws are junk. The bracket that joins the hand pipe to the leg pipes is junk, bends easily with any torque applied to the hand grab pipe, has four holes to attach to the hand pipe but they don't all always align correctly so you WILL strip screws if you try. I got the first bracket on 100%, the second one the holes were off a bit, thought it might bend to shape when tightened, stripped some screws. The leg pipe has a pair of holes, one threaded to take an allen bolt, easily stripped and ruined.Don't trust it for your loved ones, it looks pretty but it's crap. I leaned on it hard, applied wayyyy less than the weight rating and it flexed a bunch from the legs to the hand grab. Now I have to figure out how to make the situation better for my people.

Piece on top of pole broke before I could put it together
Seems to be very cheap made especially small parts. First picture is the broken part. Try to use jb weld to hold it so I can put other end of bar on for wife to hold on to when climbing up stair. Wrench they sent to put nuts on bolt was to big. Couldn't find American socket or wrench to work on nuts and metric didn't work either. Will call company today to get piece broke for them to replace unless Amazon can take care of it. By the way made in China not America.

Added safety for steps
Everything appears to be well made. Installation was fairly simple, and adding a safety rail to deck steps was overdue.

Very hard to install
Very hard to install. What should have been a quick job turned into hours. Plus, we had to use our own tap cons because their screws are junk. Would not recommend.

Concrete Install
The media could not be loaded. It came without instructions so I had to figure out how the anchors and everything works. 😩Went through two1/2 inch concrete drill bits as 6 deep holes were needed to fit anchors.Took me 3 hours as I didn't have a hammer drill. My corded drill worked but took some muscle and time. I doubt it could be done with a cordless drill.Overall I'm happy with the rail. Seems very sturdy and I believe it will serve its purpose.
