Fantastic Device
Firstly, please ignore some of the negative reviews on here. If you follow the simple instructions, you will not run into any problems! I have just bought one of these for each of the kids. Set up was simple, quick and I had soon transferred playlists onto each device. I easily managed my three separate players, each with different playlists, from the app. The Mighty3 is perfect if you do not want to be tied to your phone and is great for listening when out running (it’s so tiny, light and clips onto clothing easily), when you do not want any distractions when doing homework or when you just want to spend time away from your screen. I am already thinking of getting another one for myself.

Good, but flawed
Got this as part of my desire to go phone free. By switching to a dumb phone I thought I still wanted to have music. Part of my problem was that most of my music collection is now on Spotify. Which obviously meant I needed some form of device that could play this music. Hence buying the Mighty. Also I thought it would be quick and easy, but this turned out to be much more glitchy than expected.First you sync your phone to it - I synced it to my phone, Mac book and iPad without issues using the app. Next you can sync your headphones either Bluetooth or wired obviously and next comes difficult trying to synchronise your playlists. It’s at this point point that I should probably point out that I have a computer science degree and teach technology for a living and I’ve previously worked as a sysadmin. So in principle, it’s quite quite straightforward. It already has access to your Spotify so all you do is select the playlist that you’d like to synchronise to your Mighty. The mighty holds about 1500 songs. What’s that? Sounds great however in practice it turned out to be less than Stellar. The biggest issue is the fact that even when it was connected to a really strong Wi-Fi network and My Phone was really close by it took forever to synchronise even the smallest playlists for example a 13 song playlist took nearly 40 minutes to synchronise. This is just too long.I thought that it might have been my Internet connection, so I tried it at work where we have one gig per second Internet it was exactly exactly the same. So it turned out that it definitely wasn’t the Internet connection that was the issue and it’s more likely to be the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connection on the Mighty itself. I think this is likely acknowledged by Mighty as they have promised to improve the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections in future updates using the software however I can’t feel entirely confident that these issues will be resolved as I think they’re more likely to be hardware issues than software issues. There is an awful lot they’ve tried to fit into a very small package. So whilst I’m really really happy with the design of the product and really happy with what it looks like in practice it just isn’t living up to expectations, and that’s why I returned it. I think I’ll probably go back to my original iPod that also doesn’t rely on a Spotify subscription.

A bit fiddly to start with but once set up it is a great screen free music player
I found this quite hard to set up but I think it was more to do with my internet connection. It took a while to connect (one evening, several hours) but eventually was connected to the bluetooth speaker and the playlists synced. Now it is a brilliant little music player that I take everywhere- I love that it is screen free.

Slow, clunky and inadequate
It's disappointing that this is the only player on the market for Spotify. I tried it for 24hrs and it failed at every step. From losing connection to continuously needing charging. I managed to sync a playlist with just 15 songs; it took 10 minutes to complete. The one I tried with 100 songs just never, ever completed. It would get to 20% and just.. stop syncing. Only option is to refresh and watch it fail, over and over again. The thing is made/managed by a third party - of which you have to make yet another account. The enclosed guides and the online blurb, depending on what you're looking at, are out of date and incorrect. I have no confidence in the future of this accessory and even less in the app software. It apparently struggled with Android 14 and is worse with Android 15.I cannot recommend this player. A nice bit of kit, let down terribly by the software.

Just so disappointed in this purchase
I'm just so amazed how many flaws have cropped with this thing in such a short timespan. You can only have 100 songs per playlist, sometimes not even 100 since playlist syncing is unbearably tedious and temperamental. Every now and then the device will do this weird lock where I will be unable to turn it off, adjust volume or anything. It will just be permanently stuck for like 10-20 minutes and then magically works again. When I paid £100+ for what should be a simple MP3 device, I didn't expect it to be this much of a nuisance. There's a 30 day limit to using the device without linking it to bluetooth spotify which I completely understand. But this 30 day limit is tempermental to update. It notified me that I needed to link it to bluetooth and I did. Then the next day it did the same thing where it locked me out and said 30 days are up basically. This is supposed to be the number 1 spotify device but my god it's a waste of money. Way too many inconveniences for something that was supposed to be the complete opposite. Supposed to save me time using my mobile phone for songs. Crazy

Good but can be a bit fiddly
Uploading and refreshing playlists can be frustrating and will suddenly work without any issue after failing numerous times for no apparent reason. I bought this so that I could use Spotify playlists for running without my needing to carry a phone. It’s easy to carry due to its small size and is lightweight enough to be barely noticeable. It pairs perfectly with shokz openrun and the sound and volume have been fine for me. Hopefully the syncing of playlists will get better as time goes on because this is a great little device when it works but incredibly annoying when it won’t
