Black Range Hood
Approximately one month ago, I put this range hood above my gas stove, and since then, I have used it for a wide variety of culinary purposes, ranging from searing steaks to cooking fragrant curries. When I initially found it in my kitchen, the first thing that struck me was how sleek it seemed. It has a contemporary and sophisticated look thanks to the black finish, which also works well with the other appliances in my home. Despite the fact that the installation was simple, I did seek the assistance of a buddy who is handy in order to ensure that it was installed in a safe manner. One of the characteristics that I like the most is the ability to convert between a ducted and a ductless ventilation system. In order to vent outdoors, I decided to go with the ducted installation; nonetheless, it is comforting to know that I have the ability to replace it if it becomes necessary. In particular, the exhaust fan with three speeds is rather strong when it is set to its maximum level. When I am cooking anything that is extremely fragrant, such as seafood or caramelized onions, I have discovered that it does a wonderful job of removing smoke and aromas from the inside of the kitchen.

Easy to install
This good was much easier to install than my old one. The instructions are awful but you can tell by the picture on the box what pieces go where. It comes with a template to tape to the wall and mark your holes. The light is a little blue for my taste but not as bad as I’ve seen on some lights. It has great suction. I will update in the future after we use it a few times. But it looks great.

Stylish and efficient, but light could be brighter
This range hood looks great and works really well. The stainless steel design is sleek, and it was fairly easy to install. The fan has good suction and runs quietly, which I appreciate. My only complaint is that the LED light isn’t very bright—it works, but I wish it lit up the stove area a bit more. Still, overall it’s a solid option and great value for the price!
