Get the tub wet, then it's as easy as putting it down and stepping on the suction cups to keep it in place. Feels softer than it looks, creates a strange suction on the feet on the shower but it doesn't feel horrible. Easy to wash, mildew and discoloration resistant. Small coverage but perfect for the use of just not slipping in the shower.

This bathtub mat is great. It is thick enough with a non slip surface. The size I purchased pretty much covers the entire bathtub which is what I was looking for so when I take a shower I won’t slip. I love the suction cups on the bottom because when I want to take a bath, I simply pick up the mat and suction cup it to the rear wall of the tub (it actually stays and just hangs there), that way I don’t have to try and find a place to put it while I am taking a bath. The suction cups really do come in handy. I love the color because it matches my shower curtain perfectly. I would highly recommend this mat if you are looking for something soft to keep you from slipping.

Nice product. However, I wish the company had more size options to fit a larger shower pan. Used two items side by side and they seem to slide apart causing a gap between them.

This is an excellent bath mat. I purchased it for my mom who just had knee replacement surgery to use when taking a shower since she has a higher fall risk right now. It is very cushiony, but the holes let the water go through quickly so that prevents the top from being slippery at all. It is a great thickness for comfort, and the grippers underneath work great. I highly recommend and will be purchasing a second one for my own home. Great value! It laid flat almost immediately. We haven't used it much so I can't comment on durability yet. Edited to add that if your existing bathtub has some texture for slip resistance (my mom's had very slight texture), this mat will move with enough force since the texture prevents the suction cups from fully sealing. I have not tried this on a fully flat surface, but in this shower I noticed that it slowly migrated in the bathtub over the course of several showers.

I bought the grey one in Sept. 2022 and am reviewing it in Dec. 2023. This mat has almost certainly saved my daughter from probable head injuries. I forgot to put it down ONE time for my toddlers bath time and she slipped and got a little banged up so I will forever feel guilty. On the plus side, she now helps me to lay it down by firmly stomping all over it to make the suction cups stick to the bottom of the tub as she remembers falling and doesn't want to get hurt again. It covers the majority of the tub surface and is soft and squishy to sit/stand on. My daughter loves bubbles and colored foam soap, so it gets pretty slick in the bath and there's usually a lot of residue left behind when the water is drained. I rinse the mat and use stick-on hooks on the wall to hang it after every use, and it's held up beautifully with minimal additional cleaning necessary. I have well water with a sizeable iron content, and haven't noticed any build-up of orange iron spots whatsoever. What prompted me to leave this review was my husband bringing me his bath mat just now to ask me to add a new one to the shopping list, which in comparison is from the dollar store and is covered in streaky iron spots and generally disgusting (he's left on his own to clean his shower and peripherals). This difference between the two mats is stark and enlightening. This mat is truly wonderful and a great buy.Since my daughter and I share the bathtub/shower combo, I tried using this bath mat a few times while showering and while it's super comfortable and feels very safe to stand on, I don't like using it as much because my hair gets clogged up in all the little holes and it takes forever to get them out. I saw someone else mentioned that issue in reference to buying this to use when bathing their dog and had to laugh at myself LOL. Since I hate taking the time to clean out my hairs, I just risk my life every time I use conditioner instead :) I still give it 5 stars on the ability to clean, as I think it's more about cleaning soap scum, mildew, etc. than unwrapping hairs from the holes and suction cups. One more note on clean-ability: this is machine washable. I have zero issues doing this, but I don't do it all the time. I've probably only machine washed it about 6 times in the 15 months of owning it and the rest of the time I use a bathroom all-purpose cleaner and scrub brush. I like the scrubbing bubbles foam spray-on cleaner for the underside of this mat for those times in-between deep cleans, as it gets in the nooks and crannies and I just have to rinse the foam out.

I actually like this mat. However, if you’re not careful, the mat will slide. The issue is usually when I’m getting out of the tub. The transition from standing straight up to putting your foot on the floor creates a lateral force and the mat slides. So far I haven’t fallen, but I’m in the market for a new bathtub mat.

Works great. It is soft and comfortable to stand on. So far it seems to not be mildewing or any mold on it. It fits the tub very well and with the suction cups it stays in place.

This mat works well for my toddler for bath time. As a matter of fact, I changed mats, and had to go back to this one for my toddler to get in the tub again. So it's great for sensory kids, but it seems the hold absorb atract mildew quickly, compared to any previous mat it had. Hence the reason I was going to change out my mat. Over all it sticks fine, fits well, and is soft, comfortable, looks nice. I just wished it was better resistant to mildew.
