Very easy to work with
This is my first time using this and I just ordered two more packs today as it works SO well! In just one week I've got butternut squash sprouts, which I was not expecting so fast! I already need to separate them and order large containers to accommodate them! This stays moist, it does not smell, it is extremely easy to use. It expands quite a bit once wet. It is very soft to the touch and so easy to work with. It goes a very long way! I think this is my new staple in gardening!

Love it!
This stuff works really great. I liked it way better than soil for seed starting. My seeds germinated amazing and seem to love it. Cleaner and easier than working with soil. It holds a lot of water but also drains well and dries fast.

Fantastic and easy soil condition!
This is the best soil additive for raised beds I have ever encountered. Each brick weights next to nothing so I don't need to wheel barrow it any where. Toss it in a 5 gal. bucket, cover it with water and the next day you have around 2 cubic feet of material (it seems to keep expanding for several days). I mix ir with equal parts sifted compost for starting seeds. As a top dressing it really helps retain water and working it into the soil builds bulk and breaks down clay quickly. Wish I'd known about this year's ago!

Most efficient way to start your seeds
The media could not be loaded. So easy to use. No smell. Water retention is amazing. Be ready for an enormous amount of product for your seedlings/planting in the best way possible! 😀 this came as two bricks and one brick filled my 5gallon bucket over 1/2 of the way when it was finally finished absorbing all the water. I’ve previously used the smaller seed ones for trays and this is less work and more for your money. My growth rate has went from 5-7 days to only 3 days for most seedsWill purchase again!

Good quality product but not my favorite seed starting substrate
This is a really good quality product. It is much nicer to work with than peat moss. Doesn't have a moldy smell, is nice to the touch, and is very easy to rehydrate and mix. Unfortunately, I found it to be not best for me when it comes to starting seeds, thus 4 stars. It is still great as a peat replacement in potting mixes. My main issue with this product is that it dries out way too fast and I lost some seedlings due to that. Also, it doesn't contain any fertilizers like some other seed-starting products which is good and bad depending on who you ask. I won't be using this for seed starting but will surely consider it for making potting mixes ... when I'll be a millionaire or when this product becomes more affordable, whatever comes first.

Good product
I use this to mix with other garden products to make my own seed starting mix. It works great to keep the soil light which is especially important for seed starting.

Would highly recommend for seed growing.
Guys this holds so much dirt this is only one brick because the other has the stowage capacity to fill an entire seed tray. As you can see the soil is very nutritional for just starting to grow plants and worth every penny for this quality soil. Never had water issues to due to the great absorption.

Great seed starter and potting soil aerator
Really good for starting seeds and also to mix with potting soil so it doesn't get too compacted and retain water. A little expensive for the size (peat moss is cheaper and does about the same thing).
