Easy post install
I used these to build a 4-foot-tall L-shaped cedar screen/fence for an area that needed visual screening. Purchased the shorter (24 inch) spike. The pieces were driven in with sledge and cut-ff 4x4 piece. Be sure to line them up correctly for your application and verify they are driven in squarely with each other. I installed when soil was not too dry and in a flat area. Tightened up the base bolts solid. They worked great. No cement. No digging. Located in a protected area, not a bare wind-swept moor. They are made of good strong steel (?) and I would use them again for the right application. Saved my bacon from a lot of needless work.

Strong and Mighty
I’m not going to lie, I was worried about purchasing these as I haven’t had great luck with metal items on Amazon… these were surprisingly high quality. Considering how much these cost at the hardware store, the value is spot on and I dare say quality is superior to what’s available at the hardware store.

Does it's job
This post anchors are ok but be careful because they will twist while driving into the ground. The stake section is a little flimsy so you need to keep checking for trueness. I used for an arbor so strength was not a huge factor.

Works exactly as stated
I used these to secure some temporary poles for a firework display. They were easy to set with a small piece of 4x4 and a sledge hammer. They were easy to tighten and I ended up using some shims to hold the pole tighter in place. After the show, it was easy to create a fulcrum and use a prybar to slide them up and then pull out of the yard. I will be using these over and over again, possibly getting more as my shows expand. I cannot speak to using them as a permanent solution for posts, but that is not the purpose they served for me.

Fair but not sturdy enough
I used the two foot version of this which was decent. I set six posts however I used for a privacy fence thus there is about of sway which I anticipated (the Simpson strong tie version always has some play). The bolts are already rusting and some rust on the black coating. The three foot version went halfway in the ground then bent and the snapped in half.I didn’t keep the original box and UPS charged ~$21 for a box to fit these to return; so keep your box.

Anchoring a sign.
Used a pair of the post anchors to re-install a large 6'x3' sign in the yard without the use of concrete and digging holes. The old sign had blown over when the 4x4s rotted in the soil. The new 4x4s were relatively easy to anchor with this product. Carefully measured the distance between the posts and hammered in the anchors with a short piece of 4x4 and an axe. My soil is sandy and I had to dig some rocks out first. Sign has survived several storms with strong winds in the month it's been in the ground. Had to buy 4 pack since it was cheaper than 2 singles. Happy with the product durability, the digging effort I was able to avoid, and the minimization of the wood rotting risk.

They work but not the strongest
I use these for a small project. Seem fairly well built but welds could’ve been done better. We have clay and the ground is pretty tough. 1 out the 4 bent 3/4 of the way but it will suffice.

They Are easy to Install, but...
The tip of each of the 4 spines easily bend if you encounter a rock when you are pounding a ground spike, and when the tip bends , the anchor then becomes more of a nig "screw" than a pointed spike. This cause the anchor to slightly turn and bend, and it becomes impossible to keep it vertical while it is being pounded into the ground. So 2 of the 4 in the set now have bent points!!!The 2 that I managed to get to enter the ground in a vertical position look very good, however, with a cedar 4x4 topped by a nice solar powered dusk-dawn light.
