I first discovered these at Walmart about a year ago. As a fan of Tommy John underwear, these looked surprisingly similar, right down to the horizontal fly. I bought a pair and have never looked back. These are better quality than Tommy John underwear and fit and feel just as comfortable, if not more comfortable. I've purchased five pairs of Tommy John's "Second Skin" boxer briefs, and they have a life of about six to nine months if worn and washed once a week. The material gets thinner and thinner with each wash, making the chances of tearing easier each time. I've been wearing the SilkSkins "Second Skin" boxer briefs (that's what they're called; doesn't say that in the description) for a year now, and they haven't shown any wear at all. They still feel new. The band is still flat and straight, and hasn't stretched in size any. The material isn't thinning at all and shows no signs of tearing anytime soon. The material is very soft and hasn't lost any softness after a year's worth of use. These are very comfortable to wear all day long.IF YOU LOVE TOMMY JOHN UNDERWEAR, BUT HATE THE PRICE... THESE ARE THE REPLACEMENT YOU'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR.Something to note:There are two versions of SilkSkins underwear: the "Second Skin" model (these) and the "Air Cool" model. DO NOT BUY THE "AIR COOL" MODEL. They are not as good as these. The material clings and bunches to itself after a few washes and is very static. The inseam is also an inch shorter on the "Air Cool" model, which I personally do not like.

Just like Tommy John"" Second skin ! Feel just like them and do just about everything the major $39 a pair feel and look like ! Hard to tell the difference! Be great if made in white or more styles or colors but black is great no stains easy ! Just watch what you wear so they don't show thru white shorts etc ! And great access to urinate easy to urinate and when you get that sudden Erection , not to bad to adjust yourself lol . Does not roll nor bid nor ride up so far washed 5 times dries quick . Hand wash ! The boxers are great not like old boxers that go all over the place these cradle the boys nice and air cool with the fabric! Not paid nor did I get no special price ! Just buy quality underwear and thought others would appreciate how to save money and get good comfortable men's underwear. And last sleeping with them are very comfortable, and again not bad uncomfortable if you get that morning election . My wife says they look good and not baggy but stylish boxers ! Thanks not trying to be crude just hope they keep making these the way they are and they fit correct size ! Thanks .. 5 stars plus great price and prime ! You won't be sorry!!!

I have been attempting to replace 10-12 year old Calvins with little success. Materials and cut have changed & quality has disappeared.These are pretty good. They have a wide elastic band that does not roll and a pouch flap that is set at the top which while taking a few tries to get used to is pretty convenient.These are also very soft and form fitting. The legs do not roll up either.The major con though is after only a few wears the material in the lower crotch area begins to pill up.So this is going to make these very short lived garments which is disappointing for the price point.So do not expect these to last more then 6 months without them developing holes in them or the pilling creating rough and uncomfortable spots.

I cannot find these anywhere at this price except here on Amazon. First of all these underwear are very comfortable. Secondly they support me very well and actually can uplift my "boys". Third reason why I love this product is because they make me look good (says the wife). Finally the last and most important attribute for these underwear is the FLY. It is wonderful. You can't really see it too well in the pictures. however the design for the FLY is remarkable. Instead of having to pry open a normal fly and then reach in and find your "youknowwhat", all you have to do is push down the top flap and out it comes with minimal effort. I have these in 2 colors. They are breathable and they feel almost not there comfortable! Sizes are true to USA sizes. They have plenty of room to give as well because of the elasticity.

A well advertised brand (lets call them TJ's) are ridiculously priced so I found a few alternatives. These Terramar Mens 6" SilkSkins second skin boxer briefs are great along with another brand found here on Amazon ~Clevedaur modal trunks/boxer briefs. Decided to purchase both based on price and material composition (plus I was curious to see if one was softer than another). Both are fantastically soft, fit as expected (based off the size chart) and at a fraction of the bigger brand price.Spouse works 4days/12hr rotating shifts where he moves around a lot (walking, climbing ladders, loading rail cars, and loading trucks) and he says these don't bunch and waist band does not pinch. These have been washed several times and we haven't noticed any issue with pilling. No noticeable wear and tear despite the seemingly delicate fabric being worn under work pants. Hopefully they last a long while (only owned for about 2 mo.), if they do we will definitely be buying more in the future.For scientific purposes only I conducted a blind feel test. In my unprofessional opinion the fabric used by both brands are equally soft =)

Finally found a pair of boxer shorts that work - they have a high (natural) waist so they stay up, have a horizontal fly, and are made of a light, soft material. The pouch in front is extremely comfortable and gives sufficient support. Have ordered more.
