Great pet feeder. Takes a bit of time to work out initially but definitely worth the effort. Once I'd read the instructions I wrote my own version just highlighting the key points. It has made it a lot quicker and easier to use so I do recommend you do this. I also always arrange for the first feed to take place whilst I am still around so I can check that I have done it correctly and that it works. It has a super recording feature so that you can record your voice calling your pet for dinner. although now mine only have to hear the click of the feeder to come running for their food!

Good quality. However, not very dogproof. He chewed at the clasps and pulled the lid off himself. Also, would be good if you could set the time for shorter than 1 hour intervals, incase 1 section isn't a full portion. Otherwise you have to split 1 portion and wait.I was say great for cats/ small dogs and best with dry food. My sister has one for her cat, and has had no issues.

I now don’t get jumped on and harassed at 5am as my darling cat has learnt feeding times from the automatic feeder. Also allows me flexibility for coming home at night, knowing she will be fed. She can smell the biscuits in the other closed compartments which drives her a bit crazy but she can’t get into them which is brilliant for keeping her weight down (as advised by her vet!)

Setting it up is fiddly, and the layout of the instruction manual is so bad that it doesn'tt serve its purpose.The red light to show that the battery level is low is very hard to see. However after almost two years I am still using it, as despite these faults, this product still works and my cat has learned to sit in front of it for his meals.Update 15/09/2018 - The feeder died yesterday morning. It went off for the 6am feed and it continued to go round without stopping. Tried taking the batteries out and putting them back in after recharging them - to no avail.

I have a big cat who loves his food, too much! Now we can control his portions and hopefully, see the weight going down. This item is amazing if you need to control the portioning. Its just super handy. Working well, no problems, a bit of fiddle with the programming but its ok (mobile phones are almost the same, right? so you can do it! :) ). I would buy again. A+++

Brilliant automatic feeder. Great for a weekend break.

Oct 2016: Our second feeder has now also failed after four months use, when it went into unprovoked non-stop rotate mode and the display showed random gibberish. Batteries are fine and machine is dry.June 2016: It all worked wonderfully until cleaning the underside led to a small amount of water entering the electronics. It turns out to be very delicately built and these few small drops caused the machine to rotate continuously and the clock display to go mad. It's now in the bin after three weeks of use.
