Doesn't feel particularly waterproof, but I used it
Has more of a fabric feel than plastic, but maybe that's a good thing. I have no idea. I put it in my new shower and the shower works, so there's that.

Way less $ than the orange guys
This product is pink.Went up fine. Appears to be working well. Certainly much less cost per SF than the "name brand" stuff. IT appears to be just as good.

Not as described!
The item that I received does not really looks like the item described and pictured. First, thing that I notice is that the roll color like faded red color. Second, the fabric looks and feel very thin. The item that they described is nothing close to what they advertised it to be! I would not recommend buying this item.

Not Kerdi Membrane, but probably ok to save some money on walls.
TL;DR: probably good enough for shower walls, but stick to the higher quality products for the pan. This stuff is not the same as Schluter Kerdi Membrane. It’s MUCH thinner and gets holes extremely easily. And the white fabric layer on the surface is not well adhered to the orange plastic layer, so it comes off a lot, leading to thinset not adhering quite as well to the surface (to be clear the thinset still adheres just fine, I can just pull chunks off easier than I’d be able to on Kerdi membrane because it takes the fabric layer off with it).So far it seems good enough for shower walls, but I wouldn’t use it again on a mortar shower pan, because every little bump or grain of sand on the pan made a hole in the membrane. With a waterproofed styrofoam pan however, it’d probably be fine.Would I buy again? Yes, but only if I’m installing over smooth clean surfaces, like drywall, I was applying it over floated mortar walls, which I would not do again.

Not Schluter quality
Pretty simple !You get what you pay for !Anyone that compares it to the schluter membrane is either lying or just never used it felt the Schluter !Wouldn’t even consider buying it again for shower wall waterproofing .
