A twin lead with a 4 pin fan plug socket (like on a motherboard) plugs into the unit with SATA and a 4 pin fan plug so you can supplement board power with SATA directly from a PSU lead.

Does this take 3-pin input as well as 4-pin input?

How do I actually mount this? It doesn't seem there's anywhere external it's designed to be accessed from?
