About the item

1 way (and 2 way or multi-way when using a Slave dimmer) with Touch Sensitive Button and Centralised Remote Control Sensor. The dimmer has special software with multi modes, including Trailing and Leading Edge and the ability to adjust the minimum brightness. This dimmer is a Master dimmer. One Master dimmer is required per circuit and if the circuit is 2 or more way, then V-Pro IR Slave dimmers must be used for the additional switch/dimmer locations. Normal on/off (rocker or impulse) switches cannot be used in conjunction with this type of dimmer. The VARILIGHT V-Pro IR Touch and Remote Dimmer Series has been designed to dim a range of different fittings: - Most good quality dimmable LEDs - Mains voltage incandescent GLS or candle-shaped bulbs - Good quality dimmable electronic low voltage transformers (including those requiring trailing edge control) - GU10 or similar good quality mains and Eco halogen bulbs V-Pro IR dimmer switches are trailing edge by default but can be adjusted to leading edge for maximum lamp compatibility. It is also easy to adjust the dimmer's minimum brightness. Please note V-Pro IR Dimmers are not suitable for use with wire-wound low voltage transformers, fans or inductive loads. Please choose the V-Plus Intelligent Dimmer Series or alternatively look at Fan Dimmers for these applications. Please check with the manufacturer that the bulb or lamp is dimmable. Please choose the V-Com to work with more than 10 LEDs in a circuit and for lighting panels (LED or CFL).
