This is the perfect gift for a kiddo who wants to be a scientist. The noises, the visuals, and the easy to use instructions were spot on.

My son received this lab toy for Christmas and it entertained the entire family. It was impressive with the smoke , slime and the steps to create the beast! My kids love it!

I know there have been some mixed reviews for this, but luckily we have enjoyed it with no issues.I do supervise my child while using it to make sure he is using it correctly. This is mainly to preserve the life of it. If used correctly I feel it will last longer.The only quirk to it is the the step to refill the liquid in the dome. It takes a little bit to get it to start flowing and to fill up all the way. So if you have issues with it you may have to hold the button down an additional time or two. But eventually it does fill back up.Overall it was easy enough to use and lots of fun!Can be a little messy as far as cleanup goes but nothing crazy.

loved the fact that you can do the experiment again and again

This was my son’s big Santa gift, and it came with part of the liquid in the chamber already gone (it leaked really badly) and so he saw the Shark toy was already made inside (that was part of the big selling point too, which shark would your pandemonium crystal give you) and he saw it as soon as the box was opened up and it was taken out. Then the steam/smoke feature, or whatever it was supposed to do along with the reveal of the shark didn’t work for us.So I am really not sure why it required 6 double AA batteries in the base, if it was just for the sound effects and light on the finger scanner that was a waste of batteries, especially if it is made not to be reused. It was pretty disappointing and definitely, in my opinion, not worth the cost; now, had it worked and been able to reuse the lab, then absolutely!The shark toy that came out of it is good quality, but the lab had to be thrown out with new brand new batteries I had just put in it, because it wouldn’t stop leaking. I kept it in the sink for 48 hours to let it try and stop, but it didn’t and was yet another big let down for my son’s biggest gift from Santa. While it was a bummer to have do do so, it seemed like the only option as it continued leaking fluorescent green liquid out of it. So, we decided that it couldn’t be kept either because it was not something that probably needed to be leaking and being handled by kids. Not sure if it’s designed to be a one time use, but it didn’t seem like it as it had the option to refill and I believe purchase more? Not sure about that to be fair.I would advise against this purchase as it was a big let down, unless we had a faulty product for some reason? I ordered it from Amazon during Black Friday deals and shopping so it’s entirely possible that something was damaged in the shipping and handling part of our experience. I followed all box handling instructions as well as the step by step instructions for the making of the monster. So I know it wasn’t operator error.Overall I am just disappointed and unimpressed for both my son and myself, and would caution you to read the reviews if you’re considering this purchase. Cool idea, just seems like they’re still working through some of the logistics at this particular point in time. Santa will do better research next year. 🙁

My kids (ages 4 and 8) were obsessed with this! The smoke effects and hands-on experiments made it super exciting for them. It’s true that the included experiments are one-time use, so you’ll need to buy refills if you want to do it again—but honestly, they’ve had just as much fun with the sounds and smoke effects even after the experiment part was done. We’ve actually bought more than one because they enjoyed it so much!

I purchased this toy as a gift for my son for Christmas, he’s been watching YouTube videos of others using theirs for months, and has been asking for one of his own!I caved and purchased it and it was well worth it.He’s played with this toy so many times since opening it on Christmas morning, his whole day was made!My husband helped him go through its whole “opening” process, and now we will be getting some refill kits so he can do it again!

Toy is very entertaining. Son loved it! Cool thing is you can reset it and buy refills to watch the toy in action again ☺️
