Don't know if I was lucky but no programming needed

This remote works perfectly for my Dimplex electric fireplace. I wasn't sure it would work, so I stopped at a Dimplex dealer in my area. The rep said it should work, but if not, I could get the same type as the original from them. Their price for the same remote would be about $65. The rep said hopefully this remote would work, since it is much cheaper. I'm so glad I stopped at that dealership, but very happy this remote works great!I highly recommend this product and from this seller!!!

The instructions on how to sync with your fire place suck

Works great. I had brought 3 before that did not work.

The media could not be loaded. Lost the original remote during a move. Figured I would try this. Took a few tries to get programmed. I didn't manage to get it done within the 10 seconds. Was successful on the 3rd try. Works perfect and glad I found it on Amazon.

This doesn't work

This remote is a perfect replacement to our original Dimplex remote for our Addison DFP69139W.Dimplex doesn't seem to offer a replacement remote for this and after scouring the internet for a solution, the few EBAY offerings for the same remote didn't appeal to me (pre-used, expensive), I decided to take a chance on this purchase and it's perfect. It gives me the same 3-option settings (no heat, low heat, high heat) and it also uses regular Triple A batteries (vs the Dimplex harder-to-find and more costly A23's).During the initialization of this remote, I didn't have luck at first so kept trying and the trick is to HOLD DOWN the II switch on the fireplace during the process and voila, it works!I'm thrilled to have found this solution.

Unfortunately the remote did not operate the fire. So has been returned.

It was easy to program but misleading in the pictures - I thought I was getting two remotes but 2pcs in the package - remote & holder.
