I got this to store agave straws to carry with me since I hate using paper straws when I'm out. The agave straws I have are a LITTLE above 8 inches in length and fits perfect! The plastic is sturdy and closes tight. The lid has a little tab on the corner enabling easier opening. The bottom of this product has two ridges so it lifts the straws up a little, making it easier to pick up. With it being clear, I can easily see the inside contents. It's very easy to clean if needed since there aren't tiny nooks and crannies. I'm very happy with this product and actually just bought a second one!

Perfect for storing silverware when you pack a meal to go. Cuts down on buying/using plastic utensils I take my lunch/leftovers to work everyday and store dirty silverware in this container. I got a portable travel silverware case with silverware (by Taplord made for camping) to keep the clean silverware separate.

These are excellent to keep utensils in your lunch bag. These even allow you to keep a butter knife in the container! I ordered a sandwich for lunch, and I needed a knife to cut to bite size bites. I was glad to have a knife that I could cut through the turkey and bread with. I went to a local sandwich place and was surprised with how big the sandwich was. Supper handy to have real silverware vs non plastic utensils that break. I like that these keep utensils clean until ready to use. Great for day trips too!

It is a harder plastic than I expected.A small piece was broken, but that is OK because it does not affect the use.It closes tightly and the lid stays on.It is big enough to hold a standard set of dinnerware: butter knife, fork and spoon. I did not try a serrated knife or steak knife.

I used these to hold BCHR fountain pens while they soaked in de-oxidizing solution. They were the perfect shape for multiple pens at a time and keep the solvent from evaporating or drying out. I an use it over and over again.I do put a rubber band around it to ensure the top does not get knocked off accidentally.

Unlike my first purchase of a different model but like second purchase of a similar but colored container, I can put a small fork and spoon as well as a shorter steak knife in the container to take to work. No grooves to hinder cleaning. However, if utensils are not sitting just right or larger than a salad fork or teaspoon, the lid pops off, which is not good. I don't like that it's see through.
