So after having another camera feeder that failed from Amazon (due to app problems not really issues with the camera or hardware itself from what I could tell—the app just stopped detecting the SD card and even with cloud service it wouldn’t record birds after only having it for 2 months!). Anyway this one is the way to go. The ONLY downside is for those who live in heavy rain areas—I would consider adding more roof coverage somehow—maybe purchase one of those extra large baffle cover to hang off of it or something. That aside—this feeder has EVERyTHING the other feeder didn’t. They thought of it all! For example, opening the cover to put in seed—so much easier compared to my other one which opened from the back! Or—having the option to STOP seed from coming out during cleaning or even just controlling the amount of seed and type of seed you put in—that simple seed stopper has been SO helpful for me. Also—going back to the rain issue—even though this one has a half way roof and some of the others have a full roof for the rain—my OtHeR feeder would get way more seed water logged than this one. This one has a very good design in which there is a slight downward tilt in the tray—allowing again for much of the water to come out! And when it comes to cleaning—it is VERY easy to clean as it is a simple square/rectangle with no plastic perches or things in your way like the others when you try to clean it.Also—please do NOT forget to look into the type of app that each camera feeder uses BEFORE you buy it. Avoid the bird lover app at all costs. O-kam is better. But the VICCO app is top notch and I’ve never missed a bird or had any issue with it.Some improvements that would be nice:1. Offer the option of some type of small fencing/blockade on each side so that birds are forced to feed from the front—but also more importantly so that the bully birds such as grackles and mourning doves are kept off! I added my own type of fencing to it which solved that problem temporarily.2. Going back to the bully bird issue—I had to remove the plastic perch things and now only have a platform so that again there is less of a mess and less hogging by the bigger birds. Doing so has left a gap in the feeder in which some seeds can fall and get water logged—some sort of plastic piece to cover that would be great.3. The issue of seed scatter…I’ve seen a few companies offer some sort of plastic tray that goes over the top of your seeds so that when birds fly away or even try to LOOk for things, all of the seed doesn’t end up on the ground.Overall this feeder has been fantastic. Great picture quality, great/safe feeder for the small song birds, good water draining to prevent seed rot…etc. thank you!

This camera was easy to set up and works great. I gave it a four star only because when we went to set up the strap, it broke as soon as I went to pull it tight.

This is a great item for birders or aspiring birders. Mount it high enough to avoid squirrels.

The Bird Feeder with Camera,Wireless Outdoor Solar Bird Feeder did not work as expected. App issues and AI that did not work correctly. Also a pain in the butt to mount when directions are not clear. I have had better feeders and do not recommend this particular one.

This product arrived quickly and in minimal waste packaging. I have reviewed a few camera bird feeders and although this is not the best it is close. The camera is easy to set up and the directions do help to a point if you need them. The camera takes crisp photos and the videos are clean. I personally prefer the feeders with he solar panels attached but the perk of having the solar panels separate is you can put the feeder in the shade and the panel in the sun. This was originally $170 which i feel is way too much. The current price of $120 is more an accurate price point. the bird feeder comes with everything you will need except a SD card and the bird feed. Over all I would recommend this product.

The media could not be loaded.  I was looking for one for a wild but I wasn’t sure because I need a good quality for my YouTube Vlogs. I tried a regular security cam from this company and Automatically I fall in love. Then I got this bird-cam-feeder and definitely love it! The quality of the video is outstanding. My followers love it. Get it! Get it! Get it! Get it!
