The shoelace is almost frayed completely through. There is a small, inch long defect at the upper toe of one shoe. To me this points to a lack of a competent quality control department. Shoes are serviceable so far, but lets see if they last 2 years like my last pair of Bates did without flaw.

I ordered 11 e. Wide. I also put in some size 11 powerstep inserts. Inside was about 1/3" longer than the insert. That wasn't bad cause my foot stayed on the insert.What my issue was, my heel was loose and could cause a blister.Very nice shoe tho. I can see why it's rated so high. I also ordered a half size smaller to see what happens.

I have been wearing these shoes non stop since I purchased them. They are extremely comfortable to walk in.If they had a few minor changes the shoe would be perfect. Ventilation is critical as the patent leather holds the heat. A harder more durable heal that supports they outside back of the heal strike that most people have especially heavier folks.

Excellent tactical dress shoe. Holds up well. I wish they had a double wide version so add a half size to size up if you need more than a single wide.

I take an 11W on all shoes.This is too large and sloppy. Probably a 10.5 would fit better but still concerned about the width.

Need to replace them already.. these shoes do not hold up too long. And this site is a pain in forcing more than you want to say..

It feels like a boat, but very comfortable.

'Too large' was the only apt pre-select Amazon gave me, however . . . I simply followed all the other reviews and ordered a full size smaller. Wear a 12W, ordered an 11W. Fits good. Nice and light too.
