Haven't installed this sconce yet as the rough-in electrical box isn't even installed yet; however, I can say that I see what others have meant. It's extremely lightweight metal. The canopy is only formed on the side you will see after installation. With that being said, just as others' reviews have said...For the money, it's great. I bought it because I like the shape and the color...which is a blackish brown color. It's clearly a painted finish, though, and not any kind of "bronzed" metal. I got it to coordinate with the bronze knobs and cup pulls for my Kitchenette's cabinetry--which do feel and look expensive. I won't be handling this light, once it's up, so the weight likely won't matter. I figure it will just blend in nicely. I have a $1,600 vintage art deco chandelier in the space, for overall room lighting, so hopefully eyes will be going to THAT fixture and not zeroing in on THIS fixture. This would not give enough light for an entire room, as others have concluded, but I needed a wall-mounted, vintage-friendly light to illuminate my Kitchenette's sink area. Great for my needs and I can upgrade later if I think it needs to be changed (once the room is all put together). It might just work out as a nice background player in support of the room's star players (the deco chandelier, which I mentioned, and the hammered copper range hood that is the room's focal point). Thumb's up!

I really love these light fixtures! We are preparing to sell our house, and we were looking to update some of our more outdated lights. The farmhouse style barn lights are definitely in style right now, but can also be very expensive. We wanted to try to find a barn light that wasn't too "country" or "industrial" as our house doesn't fit either of those styles. We needed it to blend in with our current style while still giving our bedroom and bathroom a more updated look. The single lights were used in our toilet room in the bathroom, as well as on either side of the bed.I also bought the matching 3-light fixture to go above our mirror at the bathroom sink. They all look great together and help tie together the flow of the room as a whole.We bought the edison bulbs to go in them, and they look fantastic. The lights are bright, and since they're pointed downwards (not like our old fixtures) the light seems brighter as it's more focused and directed down. They were easy to install, no issues at all.My only complaint is that the inside of the light can is so stark white. It stands out a lot, especially when the lights are higher, for example, the lights mounted above our bathroom mirror. When you look up, it's just this stark white contrast to the oil-rubbed bronze, which is also what our bathroom faucet and other fixtures are. I wish the interior was also oil-rubbed bronze, or something more subtle to the bright white.Other than that, I'm really happy with these fixtures.

Great light! Easy installation for my husband. One thing to note that he mentioned, the mounting bracket is meant for outside use, we are using it in an inside stairway.(doesn't hangout too much for someone to pump their head) He just finagled it a bit and it fit very well, you can't tell. Just heads up for anyone buying. Sorry the pics are sideways. They were right side down on my computer but apparently not on here...Lastly, we bought the "Dimmable Ascher Vintage LED Edison Bulbs, 6W, Equivalent 60W..." pack of 4 bulbs. They look awesome! We were actually able to get a slightly different style for the top of the stairs but magically the same brushed bronze, good luck I guess!

For the price, I'm really impressed with these lights. The metal is somewhat lightweight, but that's OK as the finish looks good and I'm not putting these outside. Nice lights, good looks!

The copper looks really nice with our blue wall. I do wish the light adjusted slightly so we could shine it on our stairs a little more than just pointing straight down. The "neck" of the light is long enough to allow that sort of feature, but unfortunately doesn't move.

We were renovating my kitchen and took out the old florescent light fixture over the sink. I wanted something cute but didn't like most choices till I found this one. Its a touch of industrial but still very stylish and goes so good in my kitchen. I was worried about the size thinking it would be too big or too small but its perfect. They do have different sizes to choose from. I liked it so much I bought a matching over head light. I love these lights

This light is excellent for the price, the size is a little bit small but for what we needed it for, it does the job and we get tons of compliments on it. Quality is very good.

Good value for money. Not the highest quality. Came with a small dent and a scratch on it. But installed you cant really see it.
