Brilliant entertainment for 5 year old
My 5 year old son is really enjoying this game. He can trace numbers and upper or lower case letters after being shown how first, which ties in with his first year of full time school brilliantly. The game also teaches how to draw certain pictures including animations such as making it snow. You can do colouring which will teach your child about mixing colours. There is even an option to make a flick book.To be honest, this is worth the money just for the writing practice it gives - the other stuff makes it a must have for any young child.

This is a must for all Leapster owners!
My 5 year old son received this game for Christmas and still thoroughly enjoys playing on it. He doesn't realise that he's "learning"! He particularly enjoys tracing the shapes and then making the lines disappear to see how well he has done. There are easy-hard mazes to follow with the pen and pictures to colour. All in all a really great and educational game for both boys and girls who like to draw, colour or write!

Great game
I bought this game at the same time as the LeapFrog Leapster2 Learning Game System, LeapFrog Leapster 2 Carry Case Green, LeapFrog Leapster2 Go Diego Go! Game & LeapFrog Leapster2 SpongeBob SquarePants Game for my daughters 3rd birthday about 8 weeks ago. She does enjoy using this game, but at the moment prefers the other games we bought (see above). She's learning a lot, even though she doesn't realise that she's doing anything other than playing on her special 'DS' just like her brother!

Excellent.
Bought this game for my 4 year old son who is reluctant to write. He loves playing this on his Leapster and his pen control has really improved. He is learning whilst having fun. Definitely worth the money, especially as bought this at a fantastic price on Amazon.

My daugther's favourite leappad game
Very engaging game, my daughters pay it more often than their other games and the instructions are very easy to follow and the story keeps them interested. I have suggested this to friends.

My Pencil
This game was bought for my 5 year old daughter. She loves to draw and this game allows her to be creative and even teachers her how to draw. I have also spent a bit if time playing the games as they are good fun. I would reccomend this product to anyone with a creative streak in them.

Stick to the built in software
Bought this for my boys - ages 3 and 4. Seems a waste of money as the built in game is quite similar and my sons actually prefer that to this. I bought the game when I got the consoles so I didn't even know there were default games loaded on.
