I used this to replace some vacuum lines on my 1992 VW Cabriolet. They are much more bendable than many of the harder lines but they can also be bent too far to break the vacuum. Overall i'm happy with the purchase and like the black color to better match the engine compartment compared to the old white lines. Easy to cut and hard enough to squeeze through gaps.

I like how this hose stretches and fits a variety of sizes, and doesn't dry out or become stiff. The Inner diameter of the hose I got was 1/3" as listed, but was able to stretch to about 9/16" without splitting. The hose also has longitudinal stretch, so might make a good slingshot rubber... With a high temperature resistance and rated for 130 PSI, this makes a great hose to replace vacuum lines on my vehicle. Since it has such a range of size it can fit onto, it's nice to keep a spare section in the toolbox for emergency repairs. I've also slipped the hose over cables, wires, or brake lines to protect them from chafing or before clamping them to provide a secure and vibration resistant securing. I also like how the tubing is translucent and I can see bubbles moving through the hose. Was useful while transferring fuel to see when it was catching air. Silicone hoses can get expensive, so I feel that this hose is a good deal at less than a dollar a foot, shipped.

This hose is great.Thick walled but still very flexible.I'm using it as a vent line for my motorcycle, it works great.
