This flagpole and mount is a game changer. For years I've had my flag mounted on the aluminum poles that home with the flag. The last one rusted so badly it was embarrassing and i habitually had to unwrap my twisted flag - weekly. Enter this pole and bracket. It took 20 minutes to replace the bracket (I got stainless steel 2" #10 screws as some of you recommended, thank you!) and put the flag on the pole. That was two months ago and I have yet to have to unwind it. We've had some pretty strong winds/storms and the pole is holding up fine. I recommend giving this one a shot, doubt you'll be unhappy you did.

Excellent choice for a flagpole.Easy to put together very versatile when it comes to very windy days.

Sturdy and looks like picture, however I did not look close enough and it does not come with a mounting bracket.

Flag pole is sturdy and the flag spins well with wind.

I have had this flagpole for just over a year and it has not held up nearly as well as I had hoped or as is noted in the product description. Where the sections of the pole come together the paint has chipped off and the edges have slightly rusted. As stated in the description, "weather-resistant and rustproof finish", which is clearly not true as it should not have flaking paint and rust within a year's time.Also the rings and clips that are supposed to allow the flag to rotate freely without getting wrapped around the pole don't always rotate freely and so the flag still wraps around the pole. I do think that maybe the rings do help some compared to my previous flagpole that didn't have the rings but it doesn't help as much as I expected them too.
