This vest has definitely been put to work! I'm involved with the local GoRuck and Travis Manion Foundation chapters and I've appreciated being able to throw on extra weight in addition to my rucksacks.

This vest is WAY better than I expected! There is a ton of velcro to secure the weight pockets and pay NO attention to the LOW STAR comments! They OBVIOUSLY didn't read what they ordered, VEST ONLY! Which is how MOST vests are sold! Choose your weight plates and there are deals sometimes when ordering both at once. I got 10% weight plates!

Shoulder strap is beginning to rip after only a month of use.

I like everything about it. Great for excersise.

Nice vest. No weights. You Basically pay for an outer carrier.

It’s just a plate carrier and does NOT include plates. I’ve bought plate carriers that are the same material for a fraction of the price that I paid for this one. I have a “real” plate carrier made of real material for about the same price I paid for this one. It is made well enough to carry plates. But the quality is pretty cheap. I also really dislike the adjustability of the shoulder straps.

I have had the vest for 32 days, and the stitching came out on the shoulder. I am unable to use it and I bought if to help me get in shape for an upcoming backpacking trip. I am hoping this company stands behind it's products and will replace my defective vest for a new one that hopefully will not come apart again.

Man, this thing has got some heavy-duty velcro. To keep the metal plates safely installed, it's no wonder. I had to order the plates separately, but that wasn't a surprise. The product description said so.I always wanted a weight vest for doing resistance training that lends itself well to extra weight. Especially stuff like push-ups and pull-ups. Of course, you can run with it, but then it would get soaked in sweat every time you use it. I'm not a fan of that.I wouldn't have been able to figure out how to properly install the weights without viewing the video. Make sure you watch it. Unfortunately, the QR code that comes with the card takes you to the company's YouTube channel instead of the exact video that you need to learn to install the plates.Once I got the plates installed, it was time to try it on. It looked obvious. You have to slip it on the way you would a T-shirt. You come in from the bottom, so to speak. When I tried that, I could not even get my head through. I could if I really pushed. But if I did that, how would I get it off? It would be so tight that I would have to get someone to help yank it off me. How embarrassing. I read that indeed, that is how you put it on. I immediately realized that the girth must be adjustable. Sure enough, on closer inspection, the "girth straps" are velcro-adjustable. I widened the opening and slipped it on. Oo... it felt good. Like armor. I did some exercises and it performed as expected.It seems a little pricey, but I guess it's worth it because it is so much stronger than a backpack. Anyway, I've wanted a weight vest for a long time, but I was never impressed with what I saw. This one sounded good and indeed it is.
