great product! Order extra tires and rims, you will need them!
Fast! great product. Had quality concerns until i opened the box. Awesome product! If you buy 3s batteries it is to strong and fast to control. Best modification I have made is going back to 2s batteries, yep its that fast and parts are on the website. Be careful when buying for someone under 13-14 years old, it is fast. durable for a touring car. The only negative about it is you cant fit beadlock wheels, but really its not much of a complaint.

Beast of a Car🏎️
Reviewed by 10 -year old.Absolutely a must!!!! You get a powerful motor that gets it driving at 60 mph! Also the remote control has a lot of different functions such as a speed control, steering control. The battery life is really long, about 25-30 min. Speaking of batteries, order a cheap 3 cell battery and you will go so fast you will be speechless. Over all this is a great car for the price.

Fantastic RC Car!
I had watched many videos about this car and finally pulled the trigger myself. I am glad I did! I have 4 or 5 Kyoshso Fazer MK IIs, a Traxxas 4-Tec, and a Losi V100, I would probably put this above all of those for value/fun/per dollar. You get a lot of car for the money with the AK-917. Mind you, I am not so much into the speed runs like most Youtubers, I like setting up a track and racing my AK-917 around. The AK-917 is certainly faster than all of those RC cars I listed with the exception of perhaps the 4-Tec. The AK-917 really is a lot of fun to race around a track or bash. Not to mention that the car looks fantastic with the lights!!! The chassis actually screams quality when you hold it, it is not light, but I don't think it was designed to be light. As for speed runs, I might get around to that eventually, for now, I am very pleased running it around a home made race track. I liked this car so much, I ordered the carbon fiber version from China and another aluminum one in the other color from Amazon. That right there should tell you how much I like this car.

Better than expected
Overall I'm pretty impressed with this car. It is the alloy brushless version of the AK917 for clarity as some buggy reviews are here too... The car is fast out of the box on 3s (I got 50mph). I added the 40 tooth pinion (I got 63 mph) as the acceleration is a bit much and overpowers the tires easily. I also added the Dumbo RC receiver with gyro and it really helps the overall control when parking lot bashing. Speaking of tires this thing shreds tires fast. The stock tires I get about 4 to 5 packs before they wear through. Going to try the belted tires they sell soon. Got a few sets of them and they are a lot thicker and stiffer rubber so I hope to get a few more runs out of them. The bad: Durability is a little questionable. The plastic used on suspension components is pretty soft (they do offer metal upgrades which I will be trying). In particular the rear hubs have a poor design in my opinion. They have three holes for adjusting camber of which only the outer most hole is useful, unless you are some kind of camber freak... The problem with the three holes are that they are too close and a good side swipe to a curb (that my Arrma cars would just laugh at) rips the screw out of the hole. You can see that the screw gets twisted sideways and tears through to the next hole before getting ripped out. Has happened twice to me so far. Also broke one of the turnbuckle screws in half on the rear upper control arm. Oh and when that wheel breaks lose the dog bone falls out. As I run the car at night on my lunch break I have lost two dog bones so far. That said it's a great and fun car to drive. All metal bearings and bushings eliminates any kind of slop or wheel wobble I have had on other RC cars. It's very stable and goes straight as an arrow with proper use of the throttle. It does slide the rear easily if you use too much throttle so be careful, hitting a curb can ruin your day :(

Flimsy Car
Mine broke after about 30 minutes of total use in a clear and level parking lot. It was fast while it worked.

BAD ASS rc car
Man you get so much for your money with this rc car. It is built like a tank, it comes with EVERYTHING except batteries for the transmitter. It hauls ass out on the road or just looks like a million bucks if u got it to be a shelf queen. Thank you Rlaarlo, the rc u sold me is top notch and I will be buying more of your excellent products.
