I'm really happy with the quality of the carrier itself and all the accessories that came in this kit. We recently had a child, and packing for trips started getting harder with the addition of a pack and play, stroller, an extra suitcase, etc. This works great to hold extra cargo and free up space in the car.The only complaint I have is that the assembly instructions were pretty much useless. It was just a numbered list of hard to follow steps with no diagrams whatsoever. I ended up just throwing the instructions out and winging it. But it was pretty easy to figure out how to put it together just by looking at the pictures of it fully assembled and thinking about things logically.

This is such an easy way to throw bags/totes, honestly pretty much anything and travel with it.Our truck was down and we used it to carry 6 bales of hay for our horses! Very functional and great value for your money!

I was skeptical on purchasing this product, because of far it extended from vehicle, but I was thoroughly surprised with the product and suitability it provided while traveling. Used it for a road trip and it did more than I expected. The extended features allowed me load all of my bags and still have access to my back hatch on my SUV and did not touch my cargo on the hitch. The reason I gave 4 of 5 stars was the stabilizer plate “U” bolt broke, but it did not affect the ride on the road trip. I would recommend this product if you need the additional room for your SUV. The cargo bag also worked and kept our belongings dry.

I have a mid-size SUV and we love camping as a couple and we usually get by with what we bring. Now that it’s the four of us. The space just won’t work on our car anymore.With the cargo hitch, it worked amazing for our trip. It was 3-4 hour drive and at first I was driving cautiously and on the 1-hour mark, passing by potholes and road bumps I was sure that my cargo carrier is secure. The quality is amazing for the money I spent. Hardware is complete, the added cargo bag comes with locks for security. The folding feature is a bonus and I love it.

I was very impressed with this cargo carrier. It’s very sturdy, looks good and the folding option makes it a 10. The only thing I can say that needs to be improved is the instructions (pretty hard to follow) and the pin that is used to store the carrier in the upright position. The pin fits a little loose which allows the carrier basket to rattle when you’re traveling. It would be nice if the pin was equipped with a sleeve to hold the upright basket firmly to the drawbar. I was able to fix it myself.

It worked out great. We drove through a 6 hour snow storm from N.Y. to V.A. during the holidays. We had clothes, gifts, and other consumables which were bone dry once we reached out destination. It also holds a good amount of stuff. I'm satisfied!!

We took a 3000-mile road trip. The weatherproof bag did its job, we did get lots of heavy rain along the way, we had 6 of our sleeping bags, also had bags of clothes, and some camping gear that stayed dry. As for the rack! Claims to hold 500lbs! We had about 200lbs on it and tried to distribute the weight evenly. This rack is very flimsy and not well-built. For instance, if you were to put a full 5-gallon gas can, or an ice chest with drinks and ice on one end of it, it would fold right over. not happy at all with it. If it would allow me to do a half star rating, I would.

Good overall. No missing pieces and not too hard to assemble. It is however more wobbly than I would like given the price. Worked well for our long road trip though.
