Great but to be silent, if you are technical, you can pack it full of grease to make it silent.
Basically if you are technical and can figure out how to take it apart and put it together, there is 1 screw to open it, and holes in each side (4 holes - 2 for each spring, one on each side), basically you open it, pack it both sides completely full of grease, and its silent after that.

Amazing quality for the price.
Needed these for a condo with a shared hall. Fire marshal required self closing/latching door. These are a great solution. The door isn't the heaviest, but it shuts it just fine.

Good product
Product work fairly well. I have installed two. The spring closes my doors no problem! Only issue I had was the screws were not long enough, I used my own 3 inch screws

Does not work
This design is terrible, making it very difficult to install. Then, after you get through that horrible process, you will find that it doesn't actually work to close the door.

Easy to install
Added this to our Pantry door and installation was quick and simple. Will be adding the other one to our Garage / Laundry door soon.

This is a high-quality product
I am very pleased with the product because the self closing hinges do not work very well. So I came up with this option and it does an amazing job. It was a cheaper way to go but a much better product. I highly recommend this product.

Closer for doors that swing freely
These are a great door closer for door that swing freely on their own. The reason I gave four stars is because if your door has any type of resistance whatsoever these will not push it all the way closed. The door needs to swing freely and close and latch and these will work perfect
