I love it, don’t like the price but definitely works well and is high quality. I have no way to actually test to see if it’s real titanium or that the water quality is great but after filtering the water tastes fine.

Purchased this to replace my old molded GeoPress for when I'm packing lighter. Product is very solid in construction, but after just a few test filters, I noticed that the aluminum container was getting scratched up. Doesn't seem to impact the quality of it ... yet. But I'll be a bit weary when using it, since it is very unsightly.Logically, it makes sense that using the press is bound to cause some scratches when you're applying as much pressure as you are.I do love the improvements GRAYL has made to the lid and filter too, as well as improving the filter to accept the one-way valves in case you want to use any mix-ins.

I have used several Grayl products, two or three of each type and used several filters. I just put a brand new ultra press filter on and after a couple of presses it has a strong smell of paint or paint thinner. What's going on with this? I've never had this kind of smell before. Does anyone know what it is?

I used this product for two days hiking the Enchantments in Washington state… It worked fantastic both days… I never wanted for clean water… Don’t forget to unscrew the lid as you’re pressing the filter through the water like I did the first time ….

Great product however, there is a funny taste/smell that smells like paint thinner? I rinsed out a few times and let dry overnight but the smell is still there. The taste is better but your nose knows. Hopefully the smell will go away.
