I bought two of these. One had missing screw holes on board number 2. The other had all the parts but part number 14 to attach the drawer did not line up to properly screw in the part. It appears to be the same color/quality of wood, therefore I rate it with 2 stars instead of 1.

It was super cute. But do not trust the assembly instructions for the pull out mechanism for the drawer was the worst part and that’s why I give it a two star review because I had to work around what the instruction and on top of that I also had to use wood glue to make sure it was sturdy.

So cute. My cat loves it. I wanted something with out carpet like so many cat furniture items have so it would be easy to clean and not gather hair. Love the design.

The retro style is cute! It looks like a TV or wait, is it a double oven? I’m going with the double oven and going to keep it in the kitchen…The black is a dark grey and looks really sharp. The construction was relatively easy, and it’s made quite well. I had a few missteps that were totally my own fault and are embarrassing rookie mistakes, that shouldn’t have happened. I love assembling furniture, it’s a fun puzzle! I blame low blood sugar in the late afternoon… However, I was short a few screws to attach the legs. I took one of the several screws attaching the legs to the brackets and had enough to attach the brackets to the cabinet and it was done!All in all it’s a well-made piece, I really like it! The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because it’s missing two important pieces for a cat “bed” - the beds! There’s no mats for inside the compartments! Even my husband asked, immediately when he saw it, why weren’t there any soft beds in it?Our cats have zero interest in it unless I throw a favorite toy in there… While cats will lay and sleep on the most uncomfortable looking pile of stuff at times, they love squishy beds and mine aren’t going to use it until I get crafty and make them beds out of memory foam. Which is a pretty decent project; I have to buy memory foam, retro fabric and sew covers… I shouldn’t have to, when a similar cat bed cabinet (retro record player cabinet) in size and price came with a bed for inside. I should knock more than one star off for that and the extra effort to make beds, but I’m not because it’s an otherwise quality piece, and some cats may not care if there’s a bed or not, but mine do.

There was no reviews when I bought but I took the risk instead. It is obvious not solid wood but it has a good weight to it. The assembly is not that hard although I did struggle with aligning the drawers with the railing and broke the railing. Fortunately, customer service is very good! They sent me another pair of railings for free! Highly recommend!
