Reading Pop: Approaches to Textual Analysis in Popular Music

Useful collection of essays for anyone who wants to conduct a musical or contextual analysis of musi, including essays from Tagg, Whitely and Hamm. I bought this to help me with my dissertation and it has been useful - one of those books that will probably be useful to me again and again. The only problem with it is that the price is quite steep, so if you can get it cheaper or borrow it from a library that might be more effective.
