This blanket has been a lifesaver. My son has autism and ADHD. He has a hard time falling and staying asleep. He has been sleeping through the night since we received this blanket. The material is extremely soft, and he loves the weight. He will go get it on his own when he is feeling overwhelmed. It is worth every penny!

I have a mildly autistic nearly three year old son who struggles terribly with sleep. He has slept through the night since we received this blanket about 5 days ago. He loves it. It is very soft and has small bumps in the fabric that he likes to rub his hands over. It is the absolute perfect size for a crib or twin bed. It stays on him all night. There is a bit of heat that builds under it so I dress him very lightly under it and place a box fan in his direction. My son woke up to 7 times a night, it has been miserable. Last night he slept 12 continuous hours. I recommend this blanket very much so.

The original blanket I ordered was defective and failed after a few weeks. I reached out to customer service and they informed me that they have a new and improved design and they would take care of me. Sure enough a few weeks later I received the new version and it seems to be working out great. I love sleeping under a weighted blanket and now getting the best sleep of my life. The New blanket seems good but the customer service is better.

So I'm really disappointed. When I first got this blanket on the 16 of April I loved it! like full 5 stars perfect wrote a review about 20 min after sitting under it. But after just a under 2 weeks the beads have already slipped to the side and the middle has few to no beads/weight while the sides are super heavy. I'm going to do my best to shake it out and get it evenly distributed again, but honestly for the price I paid I was hoping to NOT have to deal with that problem.Only reason it's getting 2 stars is cause I truly do love it when it's distributed and I'm hoping the seller says that its just a problem with the blanket I received rather than a design flaw of the product.*UPDATE: after putting this up I got an email from the producer and they sent me a replacement product. So thankful I can give this the five stars it deserves!!

This is a great blanket....super snuggly soft and nice and big! I purchased one a year or two back (not the same brand) and it's not nearly as soft and big as this one....and it was more expensive. This blanket is one you can take with you to be on the couch or car it's so flexible. I was a little apprehensive about the removable cover at first - but now that I have it, I'm very happy about it. I can throw the cover in the wash when dirty! My other blanket I cannot do that with. I got this for my youngest Son who has anxiety and wakes up several times a night and usually runs to my bedroom. Since having this blanket, he's slept through the night and he loves the way it feels on him. At first, he wasn't sure about it....said it feels like someone is sitting on him...now I can get it away from him! He loves it!

I suffer from anxiety and insomnia which recently has gotten worse. I am constantly waking up during the night and unable to go back to sleep, tossing and turning constantly. After using this blanket for a week, I have noticed I am not waking up nearly as much during the night and am able to fall back asleep right away if I do instead of hours. I feel more rested, happy, less anxious overall during the day which I could not be more grateful for. It did make me a little hot so I sleep with just the blanket and a sheet which was an easy enough fix.The cover has a thin zipper on one side, and there are small loops inside the seam where you tie the actual weighted blanket in order to keep it in place. I would recommend shaking it out gently on the bed to get the weighted beads to disperse a little more evenly from shipping.

Fast shipping. My child really liked this product. We got the 5lbsweighted blanket. Even 5lbs is pretty thick and heavy. I thought was going to be lighter but, was good not too heavy but, not too light. From the packaging it came in and the instructions it was overall good appearance. The blanket was very soft. Some kids may or may not like bumpy dots (soft) depending on your child and there sensory. Personally, i wouldnt care for it either. They are soft dots. My child flipped it over to the soft side. I wouldnt let that get in the way from making the purchasing. However, maybe Harkla can even come out with one that has a 2 soft sides with soft blue and green without the bumps! There is no smell to the blanket. So far, I was happy with the overall purchase. I'm very glad I got it for my child. They love it.
