It was a pleasant surprise to see that this compact umbrella is pretty close to a full sized umbrella when opened. I live in Florida so I always keep one under the seat. It fits nicely, and is easy to carry inside for the unpredictable Florida rain. Opens big enough to keep me dry. It’s attractive as well.

This umbrella is very nice, it's the right size and the design is so pretty, the only thing I was concerned about was it was very hard to open and close the 1st couple times I used it but it seems to be be getting broken in now.

The first umbrella I got was definitely used and not the same item. Someone returned a broken rusted and different brand of umbrella. I promptly exchanged and when I received the new one that's when I realized the first one was completely different because it was not black and pattern colors were different. I'm happy with the new one.

This umbrella has worked great for me, I love the high tension on the springs to open it. It pops right open without any delay. As others have commented, it takes a bit of force to close it again, but this isn't an issue at all.Today (12/18/23) the Northeast is experiencing exceptionally strong winds and rain, and this umbrella has impressed the heck out of me. Twice there were powerful updraft gusts which completely inverted the umbrella! Normally this would be the death knell for an umbrella but each time, I simply turned it to face into the wind and it popped back into the correct shape, none the worse for wear. Can't ask for more durability than that!I would highly recommend this!

I paid $8 for this and it works like a charm and is excellent quality for the price. I was expecting complete junk. I needed a compact umbrella for the side pocket of my car door. This was perfect for that application.

If there's one complaint it's that it's a tad heavy for what it is--but it does open and close by itself and feels sturdy.

It's a nice, small umbrella. Well made, didn't break the minute I opened it, and works great. Dries pretty quickly too.

Nice product but be aware that they are heavy. I bought to put in my suitcase to take on a cruise. Thank goodness I didn’t need them but they are heavy. I will use them at home for sure.

The media could not be loaded.  Thoroughly surprised by the quality of this product. It has a mechanism where it unfolds the canopy and deploys it with a button press in the handle and to fold the canopy back you have to press the same button in handle ( manually folding doesn't work) and collapse the telescopic rod and by manually pressing the folded canopy downwards to lock it with handle.We cannot re deploy the umbrella unless completely closed.Small size fits in my trouser pockets easily. Interesting product.
