I installed this in my basement workshop for any emergencies working with chemicals. I put it near a floor drain in my laundry area, I was able to hook it into my laundry sink plumbing, and I tested it and it works great. I like having the option of an eye wash station and a full emergency shower wash station depending on what the emergency is. It is an investment but it gives me a lot of peace of mind having it.

Bought two of these eye wash stations. Both had missing parts and no instructions. Valve fittings would not tight up to the correct position for the handles to work properly. Would not recommend this product.

This was an easy install for my son into his retail establishment. It was necessary evil due to government restrictions. The directions were easy and clear to follow. It took him about 1 hour to install it in the back room of the store. He is mechanically, carpentry, and skillfully inclined so you might want to consider 2-3 hours for a normal person. The water worked and all the stop functions worked. He is happy and compliant now.

This wash station comes in a single box, with all pieces a little jumbled together, with absolutely no instructions. That's why it gets only 4 stars. But the station itself is quality, industrial strength, galvanized steel, and it works well once assembled at about 7.5' tall. Just print out the assembled diagram that is included in the photos of this listing, and you will be able to get the job done in a few hours. The toughest part will be attaching the base to the concrete floor.

When I was in medical school, I spent a lot of time in the lab. Every lab is required to have an emergency eyewash and showers station. I have always wanted one for my house, but never was able to find one that was equal to what I was used to in the lab. This is a top quality product made from good materials. Installed it over a drain in my basement, but had a professional plumber come in and do the actual plumbing. One could do it themselves, but if you were at all uneasy, or unskilled about this, I highly recommend having a professional install it . I have used it a couple times already and it is truly amazing. It’s always good to have something like this on hand especially if you have little children. Highly recommended.
